  • Ce rendu moderne d'une cabane de sel traditionnelle de Terre-Neuve repose sur plus d'un acre de propriété avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan!

    Vous pouvez faire de la randonnée sur la côte est sur la porte d'entrée et regarder les baleines, les icebergs et les oiseaux de mer migrateurs (en saison) à partir de presque toutes les fenêtres. Profitez de la cour privée avec sa spacieuse terrasse et son hamac, ou détendez-vous dans le salon à aire ouverte avec plafonds de 11 pieds et poutres apparentes en sapin.

    La maison est située dans Torbay historique, avec un accès facile au centre-ville de St. John's et l'aéroport et à seulement quelques minutes de la populaire Middle Cove Beach où vous pouvez regarder le capelin rouler et profiter d'un feu de camp nocturne.

    Cette propriété unique est l'endroit idéal pour découvrir la culture riche de Terre-Neuve et pour les amateurs de plein air pour découvrir les nombreuses offres de la péninsule d'Avalon. Pour ceux qui veulent continuer à explorer Terre-Neuve, cette maison est à environ 2. 5 heures de route vers le parc national Terra Nova et un peu plus de 3 heures à Gander.

    La maison dispose de 4 chambres. Le maître a un lit king et salle de bains, deuxième et troisième chambres ont des lits doubles, la quatrième chambre a des lits simples. Lits mezzanine simples supplémentaires dans les trois chambres.

Big Red House

We really enjoyed our stay ar the Big Red House. It was a great location, private and yet close to everything we wanted to see on our vacation. It is a large house, which was great for our large family to spread out, and relax.

Perfect spot!

The location of this property is amazing! It is perfectly located to overlook the water and feel surrounded by forest and nature while being close to everything. My family had a great stay while exploring and visiting family in town. Highly recommend this rental!

The red house is in a great location. Access to an amazing hiking trail and it has an awesome view of the ocean. Kitchen is easy to work in and there's lots of space! Would definitely recommend for a vacation stay.

All we can say is WOW!! This house met all our needs during our stay! Clean, big and had all the amenities we needed plus more! And then there is the view from the master bedroom - nothing can beat it. Location was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of St Johns. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a rental.

The big red house

The house was great, especially for the girls. They loved the play area, as well as the tunnels between the bunkbeds upstairs. I know there were a couple of questions when we had arrived, and the host was very responsive. We very much enjoyed the house and would like to stay there again next year!

I can not say enough good things about this house. Truly a special place. Kitchen is fully equipped for passionate cooks. The views are unbeatable. Watching the dog roll in over the water from so high up was so special. This was a friend trip for us but we kept commenting that we’d love to have our kids there. Will definitely stay again next year.

Big Red House was AMAZING

The Big Red House vacation was one of the best vacations we have ever had. Its close proximity to the city and the East Coast Trail was a huge bonus. The BRH was everything it is advertised as and more. I would highly recommend this property and we plan on coming back next year!!!

Amazing stay in such a special spot!

My family stayed here for nearly two weeks. 2 adults and 5 kids ranging from 4-15. Everyone loved this house. It had everything we needed to feel right at home and is in the most beautiful location! Close to all the things you’d want - downtown St. John’s, hikes, and other day trips. We hope to be back next year!

What a great house and tremdous host. I went there with family as my Grandparents had grown up in the area. Brie wrote us ahead of time with suggested restaurants and the house was spotless and perfect ...what a super home and we were priviledged to be their guests. My family had an awesome experience and Brie and the Big Red House made it even better. Thank you !

Big Red House a winner

We travelled to St. John’s for the first time and needed a large enough place to accommodate 8 adults. This place delivered! It is beautiful and spacious and has everything you would ever need. The location in Torbay did not prove to be a challenge to get into St. John’s for most of our activities and in fact showed us another beautiful part of Newfoundland. It is the perfect retreat after a full day of sightseeing and I highly recommend a rest in the hammock!

Home-away-from home for family visiting Newfoundland

This was the perfect spot for a group with kids: spacious, tons of windows, large property with tons of space for kiddos to play. Surrounded by trees and lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean - you could easily forget you're only 15 minutes from everything (downtown, Signal Hill, the Rooms, Bannerman Park, Avalon Mall, etc.) and minutes to beautiful Middle Cove Beach. Also: great accoustics for music/sing-a-longs.

Big Red DREAM House!

We had such a wonderful stay!! Plenty of space to relax and play. Great facilities and well stocked with day-to-day needs. We had everything we needed -- turnkey ready. Location is fantastic -- oh, the views! Great privacy and so close to so many amenities. A superb 'base-camp' for local and farther afield excursions. Only about 15min. drive to downtown St. John's! We highly recommend the Big Red House nestled in historic and scenic Torbay!

Amazing gem of a home!

This was a fabulous home to rent. Can't give enough compliments! Extremely clean, very spacious, bright with so many windows, amazing view, kitchen was delightful with every available option for cooking, the deck and ground were wonderful and well kept. There were * books *games* barbeque*basketball* the list goes on! This home made our vacation such a pleasure! Also. wonderful friendly hosts.

A+++ for Big Red House

Wow! What an incredible stay at the Red Big House! From the moment we walked through the door, we felt right at home. The space was beautifully designed, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the welcome package to the amenities provided. The host was amazing, always available and willing to assist with anything we needed. The location was perfect, too, with stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. Thank you for making our stay memorable and unforgettable. We will definitely be recommending the Big Red House to all of our friends and family!
