« Unfortunately this was not a great experience. The hotel in itself is quite nice although it shows its age (old carpet, soiled walls etc). We were lucky to have a corner room and these are spacious and with a great view. Avoid going there on weekends: it’s packed and noisy. Weekdays are good. The main issue was with some of the staff. « The property is a historic residence converted for hospitality. It's lovingly restored with modern facilities comfortable for westerners while still feeling like you're in historic Japan. The owners were amazing with coordination and really friendly. Would definitely go back and would stay longer next time! »
