« I enjoyed my stay at Kumanday Lodge. I was so happy to have a comfortable bed, if you have been traveling around Colombia you will have found out that they like their beds firm. As an American I am not use to that so I was very happy to have a soft bed. It was the most comfortable bed of my trip. The owners were wonderful and when I arrived I was greeted by name, I like that it made me feel special. Another thing that is important to me is hot water, they shower had plenty of hot water so that...

« I reserved the basic cabin. On Exepdia there are no pictures that show that the basic cabin is about 10 x 10 feet and that the only article in the room is a matrass on the floor. It also does not state that the toilet and shower are about 100 feet away from the cabin and that there is not even a path to get to them. You have to walk over grass that becomes extremely soggy when wet. There is only wifi in the restaurant and no electrical outlets in the cabin. I just want to state that the info...

« So very beautiful!!!! Due to availability during our stay—we stayed in La Casita #4 one night and La Casita #1 for 2 nights. The website pictures for #4 don’t do the property justice. It’s far more beautiful in person, with the earth tones of set against the vibrant colorful backdrop was really lovely. Also, the open and breezy layout just felt like you were part of the landscape. La Casita #1 was the champion of the view. Waking up to the panoramic view along with the hot tub and fire pit was...

Lumbre Forest Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"It was wonderful to stay in the rooms in the middle of the nature. The location is perfect (between Salento and Valley of Cocora) and food really good. Only one point to improve: mattresses are not really good quality and beds are small (not queen neither king bed) but I recommend without hesitation"
