Access to all major highways is less than a mile away. Downtown Toledo is just minutes away.
Offering a perfect blend of old-world charm with modern flair, this property features a finely renovated brick and stone rendering with the original Spanish Tile.

Please share with us the nature of your visit. We want to know who is coming, where you are coming from, and what are your plans for our space? It’s our job to preserve our properties for future generations. Of course, we also need to know the day and time you plan to arrive and depart.

This is a vacationer’s delight! The basement features billiards, a full bath with shower, a 50-inch smart tv with Netflix, and Roku streaming capability. Golf putting practice greens are available. The basement also has a mini gym with dumb bells, a bench, bike and mirror.

The kitchen features all new stainless steel appliances, a computer study area, ceramic floors and tasteful window treatment.

The dining area’s table seats eight, and the formal dining room table in the breakfast nook seats six.

The living room/family room features Sony Surround Sound, a 50-inch plasma TV with Netflix, and Roku streaming capability.

Bedrooms are spacious. The Master Bedroom has its own half bath. The two other bedrooms share a full-sized claw-foot bathtub with a shower.

Guests have full access including the garage, back yard, grill, picnic table, driveway, and additional parking on Nesslewood.

A monitor is in the master bedroom. It is on the outer wall of the master bathroom. It views the exterior of the home. All the cameras are viewable. There are no interior cameras.

Cameras are visible from the master bedroom person in the master bedroom. The monitor is in the master bedroom and allows the viewer to see around the house exterior and anyone walking up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The DVR is in the closet of the master bathroom.
To view the monitor, you will need to turn it on; the button is on the side of the monitor. It’s viewable from the master bedroom bed and chairs. You can turn it off anytime if you’d prefer.

Collingwood Boulevard features a mixture of small businesses, over 15 houses of worship and historical residences. The location is urban but not scary urban. Our cameras, alarm system, and constant presence deter crime.

People often stroll through the neighborhoods and walk past our homes to admire the historical architecture, but in 30 years we have not had a home or car break in. However, “do not leave valuables within plan sight in your vehicle.”

Do not allow strangers or any passersby in our property for unpaid tours or curiosity.

Front door looks as if it has been kicked in and not adequately fixed, none of the doors in the house fully closed, the bed in the master bedroom was broken(slanted to one corner), garage door opener didn't work, back yard side gate latch didn't work, and the surrounding community did not feel the safest ( neighboring homes had loud profane people outside throughout the night). Overall not a comfortable stay.

Decent Stay in a Historic Home 7/10

My family and brother's family stayed here for a recent wedding. It was comfortable and adequate for our families. However, don't expect a pristine, hotel-like accommodation. It is definitely a historic building in an interesting part of Toledo. The listing notes 5 bedrooms. There are only three. The house could use a good deep clean but it was clean enough. Our stay was during an hot week and the a/c unit cooling the upstairs had a hard time keeping up. There were some things missing such as dish soap that we had to run out and buy. Overall we had a fine stay in a historic house that has lots of character and quirks.

Mini mansion stay in Toledo Ohio

The house was beautiful. The only thing I was disappointed about it should have been cleaned. Spider webs on bathroom walls and light. Dirt on ceiling fans. Dust on stairway and on floor in one bedroom. Stove top was dirty and had to be cleaned before I could have used it. Recliner in living room wasn't working. It felt like I was inside a tunnel to take a shower in upstairs bathroom due to the shower curtain that was around you. Other than that we loved the privacy and the family being there together.

Great place to stay for family gatherings.

Found this place while looking for a last minute rental for 4th of July weekend. The house was great. It’s an older house that has been well taken care of. You get a little feeling of nostalgia staying in it. Very clean and nice. I stayed there with 6 other family members. We were taking a walleye guide on Lake Erie. It was about a 20 minute drive to where we met our guide. Had zero issues. Other than it was kind of hard to get in and out with your vehicles. But this was due to it being 4th of July weekend and the neighbors across the street were throwing one heck of a party both nights we were there. But they weren’t loud. Just had a lot of people taking up parking. The pool table in the basement was great. We hung out down there shooting pool in most of our spare time. Host was very responsive. The reason for the 4 star rating on accuracy of listing, is due to the listing says 5 bedrooms. There’s actually only 3. And then the living room with a pull out couch. But we had no problems sleeping 7 people. Would definitely stay again.

The house itself is very spacious and beautiful. The online listing is not accurate. It says there are 5 bedrooms but there are only three. There is a couch that converts to a bed in the living room. The other sofas in the living room are broken, because of this, there is only enough space for 8 people to sleep though it is listed as 10. I did bring a blow up mattress which was greatly needed. None of that bathrooms have locks on the doors. The gym was a nice feature. The house needs a good cleaning. The bathrooms were clean but the floors in the rest of the house where not. There was a lot of dust on the floors and around the furniture. The furniture is pretty. I believe they are antiques. The washer and dryer area was very dirty and the dryer still had sheets in it. There are two dinning rooms and a nice front porch/sun room. Two of the bedrooms upstairs are very spacious. The house has a lot of potenial. I wish I could give it more stars but because there are not 5 bedrooms and the house needs a deep cleaning I can not.

Some of the furniture was.broken, and a drawer in the kitchen.was broken,. There was some grease staines on the stove and cabinets aboved the stove and on the ceiling area above the stove; otherwise, everything else was in good shape.
