We really enjoyed our stay. Rusty was so helpful with advice and knowledge of the area. The mango trees were providing their seasonal bounty, and the nearby beach gave us the most beautiful sunsets each night. We appreciate Rusty sharing his little piece of heaven.

Beautiful Todos Santos location

We had a wonderful stay. Short 6 minute walk to the beach. Beautiful rooftop lounge and listen to the ocean from, watch the birds, and chill out. Very good communication with the owner (Rusty). Quiet and safe location.

Great Beach Stay

Don’t let the road to the casita bother you. It’s long and dusty but the reward is a beautiful place steps from a secluded beach. Everything was as advertised and everything worked perfectly. Great communication from the owner and nice little touches like fresh bread left for us. Highly recommend this place for your beach trip to todos santos.

Quiet private beach getaway

We loved our stay in Todos Santos as a guest on Rustys property. It was exactly as advertised, beautiful grounds, view, and all your needs met in the casita. We were on the beach every day… one of the most beautiful we have ever been on and most the time we had it to ourselves for our long walks. The beach was only a 5 minute walk. We fell asleep to the sounds of waves crashing on shore. ( waves r big no swimming here). Rusty was a great host and provided some lovely extras for our arrival including fresh bread, coffee and flowers in the bedroom and kitchen. There was even some honey from the property and citrus too! - oh and 2 sets of comfy housecoats-There were also beach chairs, towels and an umbrella… we saw whales and dolphins from the beach and u r also walking distance to a lagoon with great bird watching. Highly recommend Rustys casita.

We had a wonderful time at this charming casita in a lovely neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. The owner shared great recommendations for cafes and restaurants which we wouldn't have found on our own. My new mantra for Todos Santos: everything worth doing is at the end of a dirt road!

Hidden Gem Close to the Beach

We loved this property! The guest house is situated such that you feel in your own space. The accommodations were great - spacious common area, comfortable bedroom, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the weather and ocean. True to the property summary, you are steps from the beach and the property included all the beach amenities needed - no need to pack umbrellas or chairs! This rental is the essence of Todos Santos.

Wonderful stay in tree house!

Peaceful quiet

We were greeted with freshly baked bread and coffee after a long day's travel. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions and needs and made our stay easy and enjoyable. The house is as described, comfortable and a short walk on a dirt road to the beach. The comfortable rhythm of the surf is always present. Our stay provided us with the quiet interlude from Colorado winter we were looking for.

Treehouse

The Casita was very pleasant, comfortable and had a pretty yard. The location to the beach was fantastic. The neighborhood lovely. Just a 5 minute walk. There are a lot of stairs so if stairs are an issue for you this would not be the place for you. We hope to return :)

Close to the beach

We liked how close to the beach the casita was-we could see whales from the rooftop deck and hear the waves crashing while we went to sleep. We drove into town once a day on the one lane dirt road for a stop at a local market and a meal. Lots of good restaurants nearby! We had the beach to ourselves and have lots of pictures of the big waves! We adjusted to the bathroom being on the ground floor-with an outside entrance, but it would’ve been nice to know that before we arrived.

Beauty near the Beach

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this place! Utilize the gate color picture to find it! The owners were awesome! Always responding with lots of info for any question. They enjoyed chatting too. Secure, clean water is fantastic! Eat nearby food or make your own. You can make your own coffee! Mosquitoes and gnats are there but this place has all you need! Chairs and an umbrella for the beach are available for a few minute walk- easy! Simply enjoy a quiet relaxation, plenty of noisy nature like birds and the beach. I recommend a decent vehicle to handle the dirt roads- i.e. enough clearance if you need to rent. The area is fantastic and the food delicious! Enjoy your stay!!

Beautiful oasis in Mexico.

This property exceeded our expectations. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to the lovely town of Todos Santos. There is no swimming at this beach but it is huge and practically empty. There was lots of space and the views from the rooftop were breathtaking. Rusty was a prompt and clear communicator. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute. Rusty was very helpful and his property is lovely. The landscaping makes you feel like you are in the jungle. The upper deck is great to watch the sunset at night. The beach is a short walk down the road and is one of the best beaches in the area. Thaknks again Rusty!!

Great accommodation in an Awesome location!

This was our first trip to Todos Santos area and we loved it. Rusty and Melissa were great hosts and shared their knowledge of the area, places to shop, eat and see. The Casita was well appointed and cozy; we stayed six nights. It's a short walk to a great beach. I surf fished every morning and we whale watched, lots of whales! Both humpbacks and grays all over the place. The narrow, dirt road to the Casita was a bit exciting as we arrived after dark, but the pin drop on Google maps got us to the spot. We will definitely be returning. Thanks Rusty!

Totally perfect

We had such an awesome stay, the space is cozy, very comfortable, and Rusty made us feel like we were at home. We loved listening to the ocean from the open window as we fell asleep and woke up. I haven’t slept this well in months. The beach is a short walk down an easy path and we were able to see so many whales on a practically empty beach. The top level is an absolute delight. Rusty was super helpful, and gave us a lot of local tips and recommendations. Don’t hesitate to book your stay at the treehouse. We can’t wait to come back.

Millions of gray whales!!

When booking this trip I was forced to choose between a beach location and being in town with all the restaurants. You can’t have both and the walk isn’t ideal. The house and owner, Rusty, were great but the beach location was awesome. I never counted more than 15 seconds without seeing a whale and the fact that lots of them were within 40 feet of the sand blew me away. No need to book a whale watching trip because this location beats everything.

The casita is in a lovely setting with murals and beautiful landscaping. I'm not sure why we would ever leave the rooftop, except for the short walk to the beach. Kitchen is well-outfitted, finishes charming. Rusty is a good host, with great local recommendations for food, etc. Thanks again,
