« We stayed at Woodhall hotel and spa for 4 nights in the lodges. There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room The building could do with some refurbishment The views and gardens are beautiful The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you »

« Très bel établissement dans la campagne du Yorkshire où on peu profiter du grand calme. Les lieux ont fait l'objet d'une rénovation mêlant agréablement la modernité avec une vieille bâtisse. Le staff est amical et aux soins anticipant même les demandes. Les chambres sont impeccables et permettent de se sentir dans un cocon moderne. L'hôtel possède sont propre centre de remise en forme avec salle de sport, piscine, jacuzzi et sauna. Même s'il peut paraître vieillot, une nouvelle construction...

« Room was lovely, but the mattress was obviously old as it sagged in the middle. The hotel is right on a main road so a lot of noise and music playing till very late in the evening. It’s ok for an overnight stay but wouldn’t recommend longer »

« Really great hotel with so much attention to detail. Record players in the room and a huge selection of records is a really nice touch. The Radio was on when we arrived to our room and the Pantry is generous & a really unique touch. Canadian lady on the Bar was knowledgeable & super friendly (Pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the extensive bar menu was priced). Just really really cool & great location. »
