The Space:

The Oceanfront Cottage is a lovely oceanfront rental for groups of friends or family to get away from it all on the Oregon Coast.



Located in the quiet town of Oceanside - a residential town with a scattering of shops and a long strip of beach - this home sits one a small cliff overlooking the surf, with access to the beach two houses down.



The open floor plan, blue furnishings, and ample windows lets in all the views of the Pacific you could desire, while providing entertainment amenities like WiFi, cable, and a DVD player. Let the fireplace heat up the space while a movie plays and the waves crash outside.



The eat-in kitchen is naturally-lit and spacious with white everything. Enjoy playing with the blender and the electric mixer, and put dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Dine inside at the six-top dining table, or out on the wrap-around deck.



This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home sleeps a total of eight guests. The lower-level master suite has a queen bed and a full bath with a soaking tub/shower combo. Recently remodeled, guests can enjoy heated tile floors as well as an updated kitchen and bathrooms.



Upstairs is a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bathroom with two doubles. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom, and both have sinks inside the rooms for convenience. All of the bedrooms have lovely views.



There is an additional sleeper sofa for convenience, as well as a washer/dryer.



From the comfort of this home, guests can visit the beach for long strolls and sea shell collecting, or drive to Cape Meares to hike to the Cape Meares Lighthouse. Head to Tillamook to visit the cheese factory, or stay inside your cozy beach cottage with a book and relax!

This place was amazing! Such a great view! If you are collecting shells go through the cave to the other side! Check out times for low and high tide! Enjoy your stay! We loved the ocean!

First: We LOVED this place! More later. Second, an accessibility note: if you stay here everyone in your party should be able to navigate stairs. The primary bedroom is sort of on the main floor, but there are 4-5 steps up to it. The remaining bedrooms are on the second floor. Third, the good stuff: this is a delightful beachside cottage in a small coastal town. The views from the kitchen, dining, and living areas are just lovely. About 100 yards from the front door (5 min walk) is access to the beach, and if you walk to the right (north?) all the way down there’s a cool tunnel that leads out to another fun little beach area. There is also a cool little restaurant just around the corner from the house. It’s a short drive to Tillamook and other little coastal towns but I’m not sure you would ever need or want to leave because the home a the surrounding areas are so nice. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of pots, pans, spices, toaster, crock pot, coffee maker (filters were there during my visit). We made multiple meals there (seriously unmotivated to leave) with no trouble. Beds and bedrooms were comfy, with extra blankets. Bathrooms were nice and well stocked with towels and soaps. Management company was super friendly, responsive, and helpful.

Best Ocean View

House was clean, well maintained, and well organized. Every room is cozy and unique, the living space is airy but comfortable, and the ocean view is unbeatable. Note: 5 steps up to main floor bedroom could be challenging for accessibility issues; not mentioned in listing.

Quiet Sunset Getaway!

This is a quaint authentic beach house with modern updates. Fresh white paint and lots of light. The bed was really comfy and we loved hearing the sound of the waves as we fell asleep. This cottage is right on the coast--you can't get any closer to sunsets than that! The dining area overlooks the ocean, and there is a deck, so there were lots of chances to enjoy the view. The cottage has charming decor, a stone fireplace, and games to play. We appreciated the gas fireplace, the smart TV service, and the heated floors. I want to comment on the three star for cleanliness. The home was definitely clean when we got here, but whatever the cleaners had cleaned with was horrible. Upon arrival, the floors were so oily that we could not walk around without fear of slipping. Maybe it was overspray, as the same cleaner was on the table, cabinets and coffee table. In addition, the odor from the cleaner was so strong that I had to take allergy medicine to prevent a migraine. I think it was some kind of disinfectant because the odor was similar to what is used to clean after pets (but this is not a pet friendly rental). All I know is that it took two days for the odor to dissipate, which impacted our stay. Also, it might be time to tend to the cookware, as it is worn. Oceanside is a sleepy beach town. If you want shops and restaurants, you will not find them here. It's a great place to get away from things though. Overall, we had a really nice time and would recommend it to others.

Nice Oceanside rental, complimentary edibles for the kids

We really liked the place and the location was so beautiful. Shortly after checking in, my Daughter comes to my wife and I to ask if she can eat the gummies. Right out in plain sight, near the games on the bookshelf is a brand new package of tropical edibles. It looked like gummies for kids. Our kiddo is pretty honest and brought it right to our attention but some kids see candy and dig in. I swear, it looked like kids candy.i know pot is legal in Oregon but the potential harm is real. Not all vacationers are from states where it’s legal so it was a shocker. Be careful with Vacasa or whoever manages this rental, we went through verbo. I called xacasa and they were not too concerned over the drug left out in reach of a little one.

Nice place

We stayed at this house for a family week at the beach. It is a beautiful house. All the issues we had were due to the cleaning crew. The owners have the place set up real nice & comfortable. Definitely needs a good cleaning. The dishes were dirty, washing machine has mold, couch bed had sand in it, some towels smelled musty. And a few other things. But the view was amazing. Location was perfect and we had a great time.

Perfect house for a beach vacation! Views are unforgettable. Location is great, yet secluded. House is quaint, and cozy. Stairs & hills are steep, and everywhere. So if anyone in your party struggles with instability issues, this area might not be suitable.

Amazing Views!

The location is fantastic and the cottage is very accommodating. The only negatives are the outdated refrigerator that wasn’t working very well and the sagging deck which felt a little unsafe. Overall a really great stay!!

You book this for the view!

The house is a cute quaint home, but you definitely stay here for the view! Had everything we needed for the stay. Unfortunately during our stay the fireplace was not working. Upstairs rooms do not have heating vents so just be aware if you stay during a cold time, takes a bit for the upstairs to warm up. Overall, would stay here again.

location, location, location

Perfect location for our family's get away to celebrate an 81st birthday. The kitchen table and view were great for meals, as were the deck overlooking the spectacular ocean and rocks, and the easy to access beach entrance for all ages. The downstairs bedroom and bath have a few short steps, but the older folx managed that well. Yes, the upstairs bedrooms have a steeper staircase, but the rest of us had no problems with them. I appreciated having a bedroom sink and didn't mind that the bathroom was downstairs. Lovely to hear the ocean from the bedrooms! This home exceeded our expectations and beyond met our needs of ocean front view and easy beach access. The nearby Three Arch Rocks and Tunnel Beach are added perks!
