THE LOCATION

Casa Mondrian is located in a quiet residential area, just 800 meters from the center of Tiggiano. The town center is easily reachable on foot, and the area is well-served with shops, trattorias, a pharmacy, tobacconists, a gas station, and many other services. At the same time, the location is ideal for those who want to be well-connected to the sea, with the enchanting Adriatic beaches of Marina Serra, Novaglie, and Tricase Porto just a few kilometers away. The Ionian coastline (with its expanses of fine sand) is about 15 km away.

The town is also the ideal starting point to explore the picturesque surrounding villages, such as Tricase, Specchia, Presicce, and many others, as well as to discover the natural wonders of Salento, from marine caves to beaches, to the fascinating coasts and wild coves.

Casa Mondrian offers the best of tranquility and privacy, without giving up the convenience of a central location that allows you to fully experience all the beauties of Salento, both cultural and natural.

THE PROPERTY

Casa Mondrian, with its 120 sqm, can comfortably accommodate 8 people (plus 2 additional beds available upon request).

The interiors are spacious and bright, all air-conditioned, with parquet-effect ceramic flooring that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The house is laid out as follows:

- A cozy living room, furnished with a dining table, a small sitting area, and a smart TV, offering the perfect space for relaxation or social moments. The living area is connected by an elegant arch to the kitchen corner, which is modern and fully equipped with an induction cooktop and everything needed to prepare excellent meals;
- 4 spacious double bedrooms, each designed to ensure maximum comfort, with modern and functional private bathrooms, including shower cubicles, bidet shower, and all necessary comforts.

THE EXTERIOR

Casa Mondrian has a spacious, well-organized, and equipped veranda.

The private pool (4.5 m x 4.5 m, depth from 80 cm to 135 cm) is perfect for cooling off during the hot Salento days. Around the pool, there are sunbeds to enjoy the sun in total privacy, as well as comfortable armchairs offering a cozy corner for reading a good book or sipping a cool drink.

Additionally, there is a dining table for outdoor meals and a convenient wood-fired barbecue for preparing tasty grilled dishes to enjoy in the open air.

Finally, there is an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach or before jumping into the pool.

Casa Mondrian does not have private parking, but there are several free public parking spaces on the street.

In the village of Tiggiano, history, culture, and art merge into a picturesque setting, thanks to the presence of churches, farmhouses, and palaces of great historical and architectural value. Among the town's main attractions, we suggest visiting the Palazzo Baronale, an imposing building dating back to the 1600s and now housing the town hall, which also hosts numerous cultural events, photography exhibitions, and local festivals.

The nearest beach to Casa Mondrian is in Marina Serra, about 5 km away, known for its crystal-clear waters and charming coves.

Here you’ll find the famous natural pool (link), a spot highly appreciated by both tourists and locals, ideal for families with children.

Only 3.5 km away is Torre Nasparo (link), an ancient coastal tower along the Otranto-Leuca road, offering a panoramic view of the coast.

Continuing along the Adriatic coast, you will reach several enchanting beaches:
