I did some fishing off the dock and caught plenty of bluegill and perch. I even caught a nice size smallmouth bass one evening. ( I catch and release). The home has everything you need. « This property is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet and nature! We love to cook, so the kitchen and the grill provided us with everything we needed. « Stayed at this property for a ski weekend at the local resort. It was a great location (10 min drive both to the ski resort and the local town). We appreciated the opportunity to have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was away from the ski resort crowds. Our kids loved the games that the host had making s’mores in the firepit near the lake. The house is beautifully done. There was a maintenance concern (beeping fire alarm) during our stay but the host promptly addressed the issue....

« The cabin is small and lacks privacy but has good lake access. While the cabin has the basics the really important things are not being maintained. We first ran out of propane which runs the hot water heater, stove and grill (and they have two tanks). Then the septic tank was full and we couldn’t use the toilet from about 10 pm until 3pm the next day. The property owners did address the issues but they are not quick fixes and it’s really not good when a family of four does not have access to a...

« The property was a lovely place to spend time with friends! Things like mugs pre chilled in the freezer, snacks upon arrival, and water bottles in the fridge make this place feel extra special! We had 10 people and there was plenty of room for all of us. The outside patio was very nice and had room for all of us to enjoy. We loved the kayaks, paddle boards, and the lily pad that was available to us! I would highly recommend to others. »

« This house was amazing! We got snowed in and were very comfortable with 15 of us and a dog in the space for 5 days. The hot tub was great and there was plenty of space and amenities to keep us busy. The negatives of this place come down to things we tend to expect these days with rentals like this. Very limited cooking basics (spices, oil, coffee, dish detergent, etc). Limited toilet paper in the house (3 rolls per bathroom) and almost no hand soap. Not many directions on how to use the...

« The cabin was nice and quiet. Neighbors were very nice and helpful. The scenery was beautiful. There was really no decent place to park our pontoon trailer and the dock that was pictured online was not the dock for roadside 1 cabin. We had to ask the neighbor which dock to use. And the entry to the dock was over grown with lake weeds which made a tripping hazard. A friendly suggestion is to have a sign directing which dock to use. « We had an enjoyable time there. However, we could not get the furnace to work and the temp. had cooled off enough that we needed it to run. I do not have a phone to contact anyone. I left a note for the cleaners and told them about it. Otherwise it was a very nice place to stay. »
