Stay inside Crystal Mountain Village, where the lifts, golf, and spa are a short walk, bike, or shuttle ride away. The great room has vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, and an open kitchen for group dinners. Five bedrooms across three levels, including a lower-level bunkroom and den, give couples and kids their own space. After a day on the slopes or the course, soak in the private hot tub, gather at the fire pit, or grill on the deck. Sleeps 13.

This home sits in the Village at Crystal Mountain, a four-season resort in Thompsonville, Michigan — skiing and snowboarding in winter, golf, hiking, and mountain biking the rest of the year, all within walking distance. Just outside the resort: Beulah, a small downtown on Crystal Lake with coffee shops, breweries, and the century-old Cherry Hut; Frankfort, with Lake Michigan beaches and Stormcloud Brewing Company; and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, about 15 miles north. Traverse City is roughly a 30-minute drive for a bigger night out or an airport run.

A car makes this easiest, though plenty of the resort itself — restaurants, the ski hill, some trails — is walkable or bikeable from the house. Traverse City (Cherry Capital Airport) is about 30 miles and 44–49 minutes away. Snowmobile and hiking trail access is right in the area; ride-share is limited this far from town, so plan to have a vehicle.

Crystal Mountain Village has a 'Quiet Time' policy from 11pm to 7am, enforced by the resort's security team — please keep noise down during those hours, both inside and out on the deck.

Please note: while the area is popular for hunting, firearms and hunting are not permitted on this property itself.

Trash and recycling should go out no earlier than the evening before pickup and be brought back in within 24 hours of collection.

If you're bringing a boat, trailer, or snowmobile, please park and store it neatly — the community asks that nothing look out of place around the home.
