« Stunning place with a consistent vibe. Unplug, be present in nature, unbelievable views. We were the only guests at the location that night and everything was perfect. We cooked a small meal on the BBQ, looked up at the amazing night sky, made a fire in the wood stove because it got chilly out, used the electric blanket and watched the sunset. « Clean room and breakfast area. The king bed was very comfortable and the room looked recently updated. BUT the breakfast food seemed old (we ate at 8:30)—the waffle batter was brownish and cooked up kind of “gummy.” The cereal was definitely old and the milk in the fridge was just about to turn bad. OJ had a weird aftertaste. I don’t think we’d stay here again. »

« It was a cute and cozy old cabin, in a good location, but you could make some improvements. They put the cheapest toilet paper and paper towels. Also the toilet had low pressure to flush. In the beds, the cheapest pillows. The only trash can was a small one in the bathroom, they provided a bigger one with trash bags upon request. Also they could add an actual coffee table. « This was the second time I have stayed here - the previous time it was a Hampton Inn. I enjoy the motorcyle rides in the area. I love that it is right on the river. Even if you have a city view room, you can enjoy the balcony off the lobby or the view from the pool deck. It's great that there are 2 restaurants on the same property - Chili's and a grill. The Blue Bonnet Cafe just a couple of blocks up the street is really good. Their pies are to die for. There is quite a bit of traffic...
