« This was a great site and a wonderful location. It’s big and spacious yet only shared with 6 other spaces. Our kids could run around and we didn’t need to worry about them. The modern and warm showers were lovely and it was nice having flushing toilets. The tents and kitchens were brilliantly equipped. The Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley are fantastic and this site is brilliantly placed to explore both of them. The village has a wonderful little shop that’s a real gem too if you need any...

« Great pub accommodation above a charming old inn. Obviously there is some noise from the bar but it wasn’t intrusive enough to prevent me from getting to sleep. King size four poster bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Only concern was the very hot towel rail adjacent to the loo, I’d hate to lean against it whilst having sampled one to many of the ales downstairs. »

« Lovely location, not a great check in as you have to queue up with the locals who are waiting to go in to the pub or have some food. Not the most welcoming place either, staff are always very busy sorting something out. The accommodation was nice, but bedsheets were stained , and the tea and coffee that was left was all mouldy so would recommend taking your own. »

« The property is what it says - central location and small. Steep staircase to bedroom. Lounge/kitchen is very compact with bi folding doors to loo. Perfect for a 1 night stay. We went to Highgrove. Had a coffee when we got in, ate out, slept well and left after breakfast. »

« The manager was wonderful and the rooms very comfortable and well appointed. It made for a excellent stay near the hospital and was convenient to downtown shopping and food. The Brewery District is a couple minute walk and great for a bite and pint. »
