« Très, très propre, lit confortable ,jolie décoration, tranquille. Chambre équipée d'un petit réfrigérateur, cafetière, micro-ondes et quelques assiettes et ustensiles. Stationnement près de la chambre. Peu de restaurants à proximité .Il faut aller à Woody Point ou à Trout River. »

« My husband and I recently stayed at Dawne's cottage in Old Bonaventure for 2 nights. We absolutely would have loved to have stayed longer. The cottage is really comfortable and cozy. Lots of areas to relax in. Clean, spacious. It has everything you need for an extended stay. Comfortable bed, nice towels. Nice touch to leave local teas and coffee beans for our use, as well as the chocolates! Old Bonaventure is quite out of the way, however, the drive in is very scenic, and with the cottage...

« This is a unique rental. We stayed 5 nights in July. It is in good location for hiking the east coast trails. The cottage interior was painted with a pastel color and included high quality sheets and towels. Good quality furniture, comfortable bed and the kitchen was well equipped and (wait for it) sharp knives. The side deck’s outdoor eating area was welcomed after a long day of hiking. Directions to the cottage might be improved by stating that it is on the right side of the road and set back...

« The property overlooks the water, is quiet,very clean and is well located to get on and off the 430 major road to visit various locations. The Anchors Away concert was such an enjoyable evening and gave us a taste of Newfoundland life within the music and dialogue (book early). Parks Canada are always quality, whether near Norris Point or at the Discovery Centre at Woody Point. We both drove and used the foot passenger boat, both enjoyable. Do not forget walking on the Tablelands. After all...

« My family gathered to NF from BC, AB. My son lives in St Johns and my grandkids. 8 of us enjoyed the awesome home as we returned every evening after day trips around the area. Every room was super in comfort, the kitchen totally equipped. 5 star everything. Highly recommended. »

« A great base camp from which to hike and explore Avalon Peninsula! Clean, cozy and equipped with everything we needed. WiFi was iffy but not surprising given the rural location. »

« Absolutely amazing! Very clean- house had everything that we needed to have the best stay! The view… the best part of our trip. »

"Très peu de restaurant dans le secteur; celui de l'hôtel était fermé ce jour-là. Même le lendemain, le restaurant était encore limité dû à l'absence du cuisinier. Malgré tout, ils ont offert le déjeuner gratuitement en compensation."
