« Extremely welcoming host, and we even worked out staying an additional night because we were having such a great time. Iâve stayed at Alpine Lake at several different properties, and this was the first one that provided keys to be able to use the indoor pool. It was the perfect space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. »

« Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. The listing states it has one bathroom and photos show two. In reality, there are three full bathrooms! All on rhe first...

« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way.
We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited.
Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold.
If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available.
Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. After that you are out of luck.

« Great location, close to the park and cafe's and restaurants. Very welcoming for us and our dogs with an easy walk to be in the park or along the river.We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again!Do be aware that the rooms can be on the 2nd level, as this one was. The entrances to the rooms are on the exterior with stairs between the 2 levels. »
