« Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. « This is a lovely property. Due to the nature of our visit we didn’t get to spend a lot of time there during the day - but wish we did. I would love to just sit by the creek and read a good book! It is around 15 minutes outside of Morgantown but be sure you follow the additional directions they give in the notes! GPS will have you in the wrong place completely ;) The hosts were amazingly prompt and helpful and so very kind. Highly recommend the Sabo coffee they make right on their street! ...
