« We had a wonderful stay here in Terlingua. We came for the stargazing and were not disappointed! The skies are very dark, Bortle-1. The nighttime pic on our review is of the Summer Milky Way, taken on only a phone looking south from the tall side of the house. The house is surrounded by a flat gravel yard so we had a safe place to set up our telescope. Even though we brought a telescope we had the most enjoyment from sitting in lounge chairs using regular binoculars to gaze at Sagittarius,...

« Very nice place. Large covered patio. Plenty of adirondack chairs, a nice fire pit, BBQ grill, washer/dryer, and the pool! The pool was so refreshing! Very clean. The inside was clean, comfy beds, all the essentials. A water filtration system would be nice. We had to bring 6 cases of water. But this is stated in the description. If you have small children they'll love the pool, but no place to play. Every plant and bush there will hurt you badly! But, hey, this is the desert. ...
