« When is a resort not a resort? In this case, when it doesn't provide any facilities outside the room. There's a rooftop bar in summer but nothing at other times. Staff were pleasant but breakfast was limited and when we asked for a second cup of coffee we had to pay for it. The room is large but was taken up by 4 double futons and a massive hanging screen for projecting TV/video. We felt it was intended for a large group who wanted to watch DVDs all day. « Charming hillside hotel with fantastic views. The room was spacious, clean, modernised with the exception of the bathroom which is still more of a traditional, dated Japanese bathroom, however, it was still very clean and of course functioning well. The Japanese breakfast in the morning was very lovely, accompanied by great views again. The lobby has a cafe where they do great latte art.
