The Space:
Beds are all king-size and all have 32-inch TVs, plus thereâs a 55-inch TV in the living room. The three bathrooms all have double sinks. Decorated in natural guanacaste wood, the home is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi.
Kitchen cabinets and counters are made of wood and marble, and thereâs a two-sided sink with two faucets. Thereâs a 4-burner stove and a breakfast bar. Dining space includes a glass table and a round wooden table, each with four chairs, and a long, 3-meter wooden table with two benches.
The terrace has tables, chairs, ceiling fans and a hammock, and is connected to the kitchen through a sliding window in a spot that functions as a bar.
Pet-friendly policy
We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

Surfside
Surfside is a charming community on Playa Potrero where many expats live permanently (in particular Canadians and Italians), and where visitors can choose from a wide range of elegant vacation rentals, appetizing restaurants and lively bars.
Located between the towns of Potrero and Flamingo, Surfside is an eminently walkable village where the beach is never more than a few blocks away. Several tour offices offer a variety of adventures by land and sea, and real estate offices will be happy to show you your next home in paradise.
Attractions you wonât want to miss include the beachfront Sailing Center (restaurant, bar, pool and sailing packages); the popular Perlas restaurant (a high-end roadhouse/sports bar with big-screen TVs, live music, and great wings, burgers and pizzas); the CervecerĂa Independiente craft brewery between the two; and other local eateries including the Shack and the Beach House.
The lines are somewhat blurred between Potrero and Surfside â Potrero (âpastureâ) was the original Costa Rican name of both, but Surfside became the popular name when a lot of foreigners began developing its southern outskirts. Most people would probably say that Potrero starts somewhere north of Perlas, and itâs Surfside to the south. In either place, you canât go wrong.
Getting Around:

While taxis are available, they may be somewhat challenging to find. Many locals rely on buses for transportation, although there is a limited selection of routes and schedules. Private shuttles are an excellent choice for reaching nearby destinations, and numerous tour companies offer transportation to and from their tours.
