I arrived at the appartement by 2:30 am , only to find out that the appartment mentioned in my email was occupied. I then called the number mentioned in the email, the man on the phone told me my apartment was actually another one. Fine, I go to the other appartement. I leave my stuff inside for me to go do some groceries as there was an issue with the catering on the flight, I hadn’t eaten in a while. I come back only to find myself struggling with the lock . The key was stuck in it and wouldn’t budge. I stood there trying for 20 minutes before calling , what I believe is the janitor??, he told me he was not on sight so he couldn’t help me, and told me to just keep trying. Mind you it is 3 am , I haven’t eaten and had been traveling from early that morning. I started to lose hope, thinking I was going to end up sleeping in the hallway that night.
I ended up finding a screwdriver on some drawers in the corridor, which I used to force the lock around in order for in to get back in place. By 3:30 am I was in the room. The room have a dirty feel, from the mold on the walls, the bathroom seeming unfinished and the linen being dirty. I had no choice , but to sleep there for the night, but I was NOT going to stay there one more night than necessary.
I called hotels to explain the situation, they were very sorry and told me they would contact the owner to get an annulation and hopefully a refund.
We are now one week further and I still have got no answers.
