At the heart of the holiday home, there is an airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with glass doors overlooking the terrace and beach at one end. Throw these open in the warmer months so you can amble outside or cuddle up on the sofa in front of the Smart TV when it is cooler. Rustle up tasty feasts with freshly landed Devon seafood in the well fitted out kitchen and then dine together at the table inside or out. The shower room, where you can rinse off after your daily dips, is also downstairs. Head up to the first floor to discover your inviting king-size bedroom, with its Smart TV for long, lazy mornings. The apartment comes with a fold-out double bed downstairs for alternative sleeping arrangements. Have afternoon tea, with scones and Devon clotted cream, out on the patio as you watch the boats drift by. Arrange with the owner to use the mooring for your own boat, at your own risk. There is private parking here for one small car.
Explore the bustling centre of Teignmouth, just 300 metres from the apartment. Keen walkers might like to pick up the scenic South West Coast Path from close by and follow it for a spell. Venture 10 miles for a day out in the magnificent Dartmoor National Park to follow footpaths there.
