« C'est un bel endroit propre. Nous étions bien logés étant 4 adultes. Le propriétaire a fait l'acceuil en nous laissant des cocktails. Nous avions accès à un stationnement et une petite terasse. Frigidaire disponible ainsi que cuisine complète. Le centre ville est facile d'accès à pied. »

« We enjoyed our stay. The 3 bedroom apartment accommodated our group of 6 well and was spacious. The furnishings are a little older but the grounds and the view to the lake are lovely. We enjoyed a drink at the onsite bar. It is worth checking the location on Google Maps as it is a little off the beaten track, but that is part of its charm. »

« This is a lovely spot on the hill above the center of town. It is within walking distance to restaurants, stores, and the water. It has a secluded small garden patio, lovely for a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of suggestions on things to do and places to eat. We fell in love with Oban and would have stayed longer if we could. If we ever get back we would definately stay here again. »

« Le gîte est bien situé et très propre. Bien équipé et les lits sont confortables. Nombreuses promenades à pieds depuis la location. L’hôte nous a guidé par téléphone jusqu'au gite alors que nous nous étions trompés d’adresse avec une grande patience car nous parlons mal anglais. The VRBO Listing showed the apartment as having both a washer and a dryer. We chose this apartment based on the advertisement of having a dryer as we knew we would need to do laundry at this juncture in our trip. As it turned out, the listing was wrong...there was no dryer. « stayed 3 nights with my husband between xmas and new year. the apartment is welcoming and spotless and of a very good standard. the view from the front is stunning. we did have a powercut due to storm gerrit but it did not stop us having a restful few days. Good location to visit lots of places nearby and Inverness was only 1 hour away. Would recommend! »

Cons: Lacking ventilation in the bedroom, Sleeping is challenging due to creaking floor from the upstairs apartment (you can hear every for footstep), patio chairs outside are unusable since there is no cover against the rain. »

« This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area. »
