Our vacation home stands out for several reasons. Its prime location near Lake Hickory & a marina offering boat rentals provides easy access to water activities & scenic beauty. Convenience is key, with groceries, dining, gas, & shopping nearby. Inside, the home offers a mix of comfort & luxury, including a covered front porch, hardwood floors, & a modern kitchen w/granite countertops & SS appliances & wine chiller. Every bedroom & the living room has a flat-screen TV. The primary bathroom features a spa-like tile shower, double vanity sinks & the hall bathroom has a tub/shower combo also w/ double vanity sink. 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, it's perfect for families or groups. Recent renovations ensure a pristine & modern stay in Bethlehem/Taylorsville, NC. Mins from Hickory NC! Private setting where you can relax & enjoy what the Foothills is all about. No eating in the bedrooms. Please use coasters under your drinks - they are provided. Try to enforce quite time from 11 pm till 8 am.
Trash pickups EARLY on Fri's - please take trash to street on Thursday pm. Upon leaving start a load of towels in washer and dishes in dishwasher.

The house is beautiful! Additionally, it had been thoughtfully decorated for the holiday season. We were in town for an early holiday gathering with family and the Christmas tree and decor added to the festive feel. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped with all you need and more. Amanda was extremely communicative and helpful. We will be delighted to return for future stays!

It was gorgeous the host place had a lot of things, and we actually was spoiled other than that, the place was clean. Great Place for Mobility Challenged

My friends and I have stayed in several rentals over the years and this one was the nicest! Everything was exceptionally clean and new! Kitchen very well stocked and organized, including thoughtful snacks! Amanda was always reachable and provided excellent information before and during our stay. One of our friends has mobility issues and uses a rollator. This home was a great match for her: everything on one floor, a walk in shower in the master, and only one fairly low step at the entrance. We are finding it difficult to locate rentals that are handicapped accessible, so this sweet house was a real find! Beautifully landscaped on a lovely wooded lot with great front and back porches for sitting with morning coffee or evening cocktail! Thanks Amanda for a lovely time!

Wonderful home!

We visited family for an early Christmas gathering, as well as an 80th birthday. The home was beautifully decorated to begin with, but with the Christmas tree and all the other holiday decor, it was amazing! With 4 bedrooms, we were able to accommodate all our guests comfortably. Beds were comfy, house was well stocked with welcome goodies, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Grocery store, gas station and Starbucks are all very close, and other stores and restaurants are easily within 10-15 minute drives. The neighborhood was quiet and had low traffic. Amanda was a delight to talk to and responded very quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely rent this house again!

This is a great house. My friends and I were staying for the weekend and it was great. The house was close to everything we needed for the weekend. It was clean and spacious. Perfection

We can as a family with my FIL for a wedding. This property was only 12 minutes from the Venue (Amity Creek Farms) It was clean and beautiful with the sweetest welcome basket. My kids loved the bunk room and the books and toys and games that were included with the home. Our hostess with the mostest was so warm, informative and communicative.

Amazing Stay

The place was decorated beautifully, and was so comfortable. It had everything you could possible need for cooking. There were even games that we played. We enjoyed sitting and having our coffee on both porches. It was a very peaceful and relaxing time for us in a place that felt like home. We look forward to staying there again.

Perfection attained

This was a perfect rental, just up the road from the family home on the lake. Accommodations for our German friends, their three children, and us were ideal. Home is well up-fitted and the hostess is a dream; she really took care of us when the fridge went on the blitz. Everything was smooth sailing and we wanted for nothing. Sitting on the porches were wonderful, even in the evening rains. We will be back.

Our BEST experience yet!

We had to visit due to a family funeral, and Amanda, the host, was absolutely amazing. She made sure our stay was as pleasant as it could be due to our circumstances. This is by far the cleanest home we have ever stayed in. We were traveling with our 2 dogs, and they loved the property and felt right at home too. We 100% recommend this beautiful and relaxing retreat and will be back.

A Nice Retreat During a Busy Weekend

The house is beautiful. A lot of care and time has gone into the decor. It also gave a welcoming and relaxing vibe which was much appreciated during our busy weekend with family. The little touches (snack basket and drinks in the fridge) we also very appreciated. A definite do again sometime.
