The Long Weekend is tucked away in the heart of Papamoa, close enough to everything without feeling like you’re in the middle of it all.


This inviting, self-contained studio offers a comfortable and peaceful retreat, ideal for couples or solo travellers. The bright, welcoming space features a kitchenette equipped for light cooking, a coffee machine for your morning brew, and a light continental breakfast. A TV and a selection of books are also provided for relaxing downtime.


Step outside and enjoy your private garden with outdoor dining and sun loungers, perfect for a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. With a private entrance, exclusive use of the studio and garden, and no shared spaces, you can enjoy a relaxing and independent stay.


Located in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, the studio is just a short distance from the beach and within an easy reach of local cafes, restaurants, golf courses, and scenic walking tracks. The region comes alive during the summer months, with a fantastic calendar of events, including national and international sports events, music festivals, art exhibitions, garden trails, and community celebrations. Whether you're here for a major sporting event, attending a music festival, exploring the art scene, or simply enjoying a coastal holiday, there's always something happening to ensure a memorable stay.


Free street parking is available at the front of the property, with on-site parking available by arrangement however, this is not suitable for camper vans or large trailers. The private garden offers a secure space for your bike or kayak, making it a convenient base for guests bringing their equipment for local sports events or mountain biking adventures.


Perfectly placed for exploring the wider Bay of Plenty and beyond, with Rotorua's geothermal wonders, lakes, hot pools and day spas less than an hours drive. A little further South, explore Mount Ruapehu and Tongariro National Park, with hiking, skiing and spectacular volcanic landscapes.
