« This is a lovely, unpretentious motel located in Murphy. Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. It is about a 10-12 minute drive to the John C Campbell Folk School and easy driving to various trails and scenic spots. »

« We had to wait literally 10-15 minutes before anyone came to the front desk. We called the "800" number to ring the front desk while standing there and still no one. Finally, a young man emerged from somewhere down the hall. While we were checking in "later," it was only 8:30-9:00pm. Weird! « We ended up booking this place to stay for the weekend but we didn't even check-in in the apartment. The street getting to this place is very rural and tight with no lights and we quickly realized that it would have been impossible for us to drive in and out of it easily at night. The street also doesn't seem to have any lights which makes it dangerous to drive in. Can't really comment for the place inside because we didn't even see it, but more pictures of the apartment should be listed, and...
