This is not a typical rental. Every detail of the space has been handcrafted, with custom woodwork throughout that makes this stay unlike anything else in the area.

The casita is designed to be open to its surroundings, with high wraparound windows that bring in natural light, fresh air, and views of the surrounding trees. Monkeys and parrots are often seen right from inside, creating a rare connection to the rhythm of the jungle.

Located in the heart of Playa Avellanas, the casita is about a 10-minute walk to the beach, as well as a variety of restaurants and local shops.

Inside, the space includes:
• One queen bed with custom carved headboard
• Artisan furniture and detailed woodwork throughout
• Kitchenette with fridge, coffee maker, electric pan, rice cooker, slow cooker, and blender
• Custom dining table with carved crocodile centerpiece
• Air conditioning and ceiling fan for comfort

• Smart TV with Apple TV, Netflix, and ad-free YouTube Premium

Outside, unwind in the hammock or Adirondack chairs after a surf session or a day at the beach.

The casita is located near a local road, offering convenient access to the area. At times, you may hear passing vehicles as part of the natural rhythm of local life.

Housekeeping: One complimentary housekeeping visit per week is included for stays of seven nights or longer. Additional cleaning is available on request for an extra charge.

Laundry: Guests may use the shared washer and dryer free of charge. Laundry service through the housekeeper is also available on request; any service charges will be confirmed in advance. The gated property contains three separate rentals and a shared laundry area.

Wi-Fi is free, using a 500 Mbps connection shared by all three houses. Actual guest-device speeds vary by location, range-extender signal, and simultaneous use. Smart TVs offer Apple TV, Netflix, and ad-free YouTube Premium and can also be used as computer displays. Ice cube trays are provided; there are no ice makers.

Optional paid extras include massages, excursions, transportation, surf lessons, and surfboard rentals, subject to availability. Access to the neighboring facility’s pool, sauna, and cold plunge costs extra and is subject to its availability and rules; these facilities are not on the rental property. A nearby organic store offers vegan and vegetarian options for purchase.

Trash is collected at the property weekly. Suitable recyclables are taken to the recycling program at neighboring Cabinas Las Olas.

One parking space is available inside the gated property. Maximum occupancy is 2 overnight guests. Smoking is permitted outdoors only; no smoking indoors.
