« Beautifully presented peaceful B&B with lovely views towards the Brecon Beacons from the breakfast room. We selected this B&B due to proximal convenience to the local "Y Promenad" parkrun, just a few minutes walk away, which I visited to collect my "Y" as part of parkrun's alphabet tourism challenge. Our breakfast was first class in quality and variety and our host Jen was very accommodating in serving breakfast early to meet my parkrun schedule. Our room was well-appointed and the bed...

« Absolutely delightful hotel. Me and a friend booked a room each for the Hay Festival, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were wonderful; helpful, friendly, even showed us to our rooms. The location was great, not too far away but far enough that I’d was quiet and tranquil. The breakfast is well worth the money, as is the Old Barn pub across the road, where we ate that night. A fantastic stay, I can’t wait to return with my husband next time. »

« Je suis venue dans cet hôtel pour 1 nuit est je n’ai pas du tout appréciée…. Attention dans les chambres il y a de grandes fenêtres mais ne s’ouvrent pas complètement uniquement le haut vers l’extérieur… pas de Clim ! Avec cette chaleur Juste un petit ventilateur pour survivre… le spa est trop décevant… une piscine froide qui ne donne pas envie, un jacuzzi trop brûlant un sauna hyper petit ( il ne faut pas être claustrophobe ..) les vestiaires sales. Un conseil apporter bien vos claquettes.....

« Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. »

« Great location, very friendly and helpful owner (Steve), excellent facilities and very comfortable holiday home ….with 7 days of 20+ temperatures and wall to wall sunshine ! …only very slight negative being that the windows could prob do with a better clean given the great views. Steve’s recommendation of the Seven Stars at Aberedw about 2 miles away was also excellent…nothing fancy about the food but very tasty, good portions and a really nice environment in a community owned country pub. »
