« Stayed in this lovely, newly refurbished motel in Collingwood recently. Spacious, nicely furnished with a very well equipped kitchen area, this is one of the cleanest, best presented motels I've ever stayed in. Right opposite the Collingwood Tavern for an evening meal, a few steps along the street from the handy convenience store and just a little further to the Farewell Spit tour office, the Pioneer Motel could not be better situated. « It's a charming off grid stay, perfect to unplug and explore the area from, or use the tracks on site or just chill out and enjoy the hot tub and it's beautiful surroundings, under the stars in the evening is wonderous, it's a magnificent spot and hosted by lovely friendly people. « Amazing location with views in every direction. Modern home with everything you need. Lovely shower room and separate toilet. Enjoyed sitting on balcony, bbq dinner and watching the amazing night sky whilst listening to Kia and a kiwi. We drove down to town as it was a bit steep but worth driving around the area as it’s beautiful. Definitely recommend »
