  • Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located, newly built place. Located in a walkable neighborhood with restaurants, coffee shops, a grocery store, parks, and the waterfront nearby. The Link light rail station with access to 3 major hospitals, the Tacoma Dome, and the Tacoma convention center is a 5 minute walk. Convenient jumping off point for your PNW adventures to Seattle, Mt Rainier, and the Olympic National Park.

    Newly built basement suite in a historic 1910 Craftsman Four Square style home. The basement suite is close to 1000 square feet with a large, open kitchen and living area. The bathroom is a 3/4 bath with a full washer/dryer. The bedroom has 1 queen bed. The space is perfect for 2 adults or a family of up to 4. As a family ourselves we have all the baby/toddler gear and are happy to provide you with anything you might need on your travels. Please keep in mind this suite is in the basement of our family home. You will hear noise from our home above. We try to be considerate of our guests but you will hear sounds of normal living - footsteps, cabinet doors, etc. This has not been a problem for the vast majority of our guests, but if you feel you are highly sensitive to noise it could be bothersome for you.

Great space with loads of personal touches. Plenty of kitchen utensils to truly cook in the space and thoughtful items like bedside lights with built in usb charging ports, extra lines and blankets, and even an umbrella. It was a big enough space that we could both comfortably work and move around without being on top of each other.

We only stayed one night but this was a great little place. It was walking distance to some great restaurants. The place was very clean and well stocked with stuff in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable which was great cause that’s usually the part that we always have an issue with. We would definitely stay again

Very nice and mostly quiet unit. Cute little "Welcome Book" that gave instructions, contact information, and provided little tourist areas to go see. Up-to-date appliances and stocked kitchen. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived, but everything else was clean.

The photos of the suite are just as they appear on VRBO. The kitchen was well appointed and enabled us to eat all our meals there. The place was very clean and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra blankets and pillows.There was plenty of parking no matter what time we came and went. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Perfection

A perfect location. I stayed with my two young sons on a train trip up from portland. We rode the light rail, busses, amtrack and a boat... Visited the museum of glass, children's museum, and the zoo. Shake, Shake, Shake was a great place for a bite or dessert if you have kids.
