Look no further for your next memorable vacation! Mountainside Vista is a spectacular 4-bed, 3-bath home that offers the perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and relaxation. With ski-in/ski-out access, this spacious retreat is nestled high on the slopes of Granby Ranch, providing you with year-round activities (skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, or just relaxing) and the breathtaking splendor of the Colorado Rockies. This is the perfect destination to create unforgettable moments!

We are located remotely, but will be happy to connect with you via email, text or phone anytime to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay! We also have local resources standing by, if needed.

Located just 25 minutes past Winter Park on highway 40, Granby Ranch is one of Colorado's best kept secrets. We chose this location due to the significant number of activities available year-round and the relaxing atmosphere due to the absence of large crowds found at the larger resorts. Whether it's skiing, tubing, biking, golfing, fishing or just kicking back and relaxing, you can find it all here in Granby Ranch.

For those looking for a little more action outside, this home is right next to the slopes of the Granby Ranch ski slopes. Granby Ranch is designed and operated with families in mind. It is widely regarded as one of the best areas in Colorado to learn to ski or ride on acres of beginner slopes. Trails of varying levels of difficulty and terrain all lead back to the base area, so family and friends can easily meet back at the same place.

For warm-season recreation, Granby Ranch also offers mountain biking, golfing, and fishing. You can use the lift to get your bike up the mountain or to start a hike from the top going down the many trails running throughout the Ranch. The Granby Ranch Golf Course offers 18 holes along the Fraser River. Our guests also have access to the heated pool, community hot tub, and fitness center at the base of the Resort.

A supermarket is just 10 minutes away. If you choose to dine out, a number of great restaurants and bars are nearby at Granby Ranch Base Camp, Silvercreek, and the Town of Granby.

Granby Ranch is within a 15 to 35-minute drive to Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, Grand Lake, and Rocky Mountain National Park. Winter Park town and ski resort is less than 30 minutes away for more skiing, biking, and hiking. Hot Sulphur Springs Spa and Resort is also nearby for soaking in warm mineral springs. More recreational and spa activities are also close by at Devil’s Thumb Ranch and the YMCA’s Snow Mountain Ranch.

Guests will have access to everything that our home has to offer! Upgraded finishes, cozy furnishings, towels and linens. Ample storage for ski, bike and golf equipment is available in the garage, which includes shelves for your gear. The kitchen, all living & sleeping areas, patios, and porch. The community pool, located near the entrance to the Granby Ranch Ski Resort, is available for guest use and features a heated pool and hot tub that are available year-round (requires paid day pass, $15 per day, subject to change, children 8 and under are free).

The home provides multiple living areas with ample room for your family and friends to lounge after a day of outdoor adventures. Upon entering Mountainside Vista you'll be greeted by our spacious and beautifully appointed living space designed to cater to your every need. The great room on the main floor is luxurious and relaxing, featuring a cozy fireplace, a 55-inch television with Apple TV and a speaker system, and massive windows that frame the remarkable mountain views. The lower level living area provides extra sleeping options, as well as more lounging space and a smart Apple TV. In either living area, sink into plush sofas, enjoy movie nights with loved ones, or simply soak in the ambiance of this mountain retreat. With all its space, this home still maintains a cozy, welcoming, and elegant feel. The high end finishes and comfortable furnishings provide a homey touch to this mountain getaway.

If you prefer to relax outside, we have lots of space to enjoy the fresh air and surrounding beauty on our large front deck overlooking the valley, or on our back patio areas. We have several folding patio chairs in the garage that you can use for outdoor seating. In addition, there’s plenty of space on our property for the kids to run around and have fun!

You’ll love our master suite featuring amazing views of the ski slopes and valley, a large ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and clawfoot soaking tub, plus a walk-in closet. Each of the other three bedrooms has a queen bed, and the lower level great room has two additional bunks and a queen Murphy bed. Heated floors throughout the house will keep you feeling warm and cozy no matter how chilly it is outside!

The heated garage provides space to store your ski or other sports gear, as well as room for parking two cars.

Our home provides quick access to the ski slopes: we often walk to the end of the road and clip on our skis at the run down to the main lift, or there’s a run that goes right behind our back yard that you can ski down to the Kicking Horse lift.

Kitchen:

The large kitchen has all you will need for preparing meals including full size appliances and a gas range. Included in the kitchen are supplies for cooking and baking, basic spices, including utensils and knives, dishes, glassware, as well as a crock pot, toaster, blender, and drip coffee maker. There is dining space outside to enjoy the amazing view as well.

Sleeping arrangements:
● Master suite (sleeps 2): upper level master features a queen size bed, large walk-in closet, connected bathroom with double vanity and clawfoot soaking tub, 55” Apple TV, and breathtaking views.
● 2nd bedroom (sleeps 2): queen sized bed
● 3rd bedroom (sleeps 2): queen sized bed
● 4th bedroom (sleeps 2): queen sized bed
● Lower level living area (sleeps 6): this living area includes four twin sized bunk beds, as well as a queen size Murphy bed.

Ski-in, Ski-out Details:
● To get to the slopes from our home: the Mamie's Way ski run is directly behind our property, so you can get there by walking about 50ft from the house to the run. You can also walk about 200ft from our driveway to the end of the road and you'll be right on the Summit Glade ski run.

Please note that our home, like most mountain properties, does not have air conditioning. However, it’s easy to keep the home cool by opening windows at night to allow fresh air in, as well as using our portable fans to keep air circulating.

A vehicle is recommended to effectively reach and enjoy the area. During the snow season, we highly recommend an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle.

We also enjoy the close access to so much Granby has to offer: mountain biking or hitting the links at the Granby Ranch Golf course in the summer, or our ski-in / ski-out access to the slopes in the winter. Rocky Mountain National Park, Lake Granby, and Winter Park Ski Resort and so much more are just short drives away. While it is close to the best of Grand County, it is a quiet neighborhood and a great place to relax."

My biggest problem with our stay was not enough seating so we could have a family meal! Sleeps 14 but only has 6 chairs around the table and no patio furniture at all!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful mountain retreat! The house was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed. The views from the deck were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset.The location was peaceful and private, but still close enough to trails, restaurants, and small-town charm.The hosts were responsive and helpful, It was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature.

My family and I had an amazing time at this stay! It had easy access to ski Granby with just a two minute walk to the Summit Glade run, and the ability to ski directly off Mamie’s Way to the property. And the house had all the amenities for cooking good meals and facilitating enjoyable quality time. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

We have been coming to Granby for almost 10 years and this is one of the best places we have stayed. The place was well stocked and the location is the best we've had for ski-in/ski-out access. We had 3 families staying with 8 kids age 10 - 15. There were two living areas, which was great for the kids and adults to have space. The two things we wish the property would have had were an additional bathroom and a hot tub.

We visited with 3 total families for a New Year’s ski trip. The house is great for 3 families with kids. The kids are able to sleep together in a large room with bunks and a Murphy bed. Adults each had their own rooms each with a queen sized bed. The large kitchen made it easy to make meals and eat together. We also really loved how easy it was to get to the ski trail.. just a short walk to the end of the street and you’re there. We had a great time and would stay there again!!
