Appartamento Coturnia is a characteristic and welcoming apartment in the heart of the fascinating island of Ortigia. It sleeps two people. From Appartamento Coturnia you will enjoy a characteristic view of the surrounding buildings. Appartamento Coturnia is 60 square meters (645 square feet). It features a private terrace, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a limited traffic zone in the historic center of Siracusa, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find a number of restaurants, a grocery store, the stop for the local bus at 100 meters (330 feet) and the closest beach (Cala Rossa beach) at roughly 800 meters (half a mile) including 90 stairway steps.
Appartamento Coturnia is located on the second floor of an ancient building. You will reach it from the main entrance of the building going up approximately 30 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Appartamento Coturnia. If you do have one, you will be able to park it at approximately 300 meters (330 yards), for a fee, in a public parking lot (being the lot a public one, parking spaces can not be reserved).

Terrace
The terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by an awning. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a characteristic view of the surrounding buildings.
Living Room
The ceiling of the living room is made of wood. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The furnishings include a sofa. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room also has a window. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through an access area. It is equipped with a two-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate four guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the terrace. The room also has a window.
Bedroom
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the living room climbing four steps. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a chaise longue. The room has a Juliet balcony. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room through an access area.
