« This property did not disappoint! No detail was spared in making this the perfect spot for comfort and relaxation. And the views! The property was designed and situated to take advantage of panoramic scenery. Our fisherman were especially appreciative of the private boat ramp and dock. There were 3 couples and we all commented that you couldn’t go wrong with any of the 3 bedrooms….all 3 were comfortable and had their own baths. We will definitely stay again if back in the area. Awesome trip! »

« We now live out of state and traveled back to Chilton County to celebrate Mothers Day Weekend with family. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The house is wonderful and perfect for a weekend getaway or a week enjoying the water! We will definitely stay here again in the future!! »

« The check in process was seamless. The house was clean and was exactly as described. The view was awesome. Husband caught (and released) many bass and bream from the dock. Bed was comfortable. AC worked great. I have zero complaints. »

« It was decorated nicely and the host was very helpful. A few things needed some attention like toilet downstairs wasn't fastened good. And the stairs were a little scary and steep. Other then that we had a great time and it was right on the lake and we got to fish. We all had a great time. »

The home both indoor and outdoor was set up with many places to hang out, float in lake, go boating, play corn hole or play pool or just lounge on porch swings or at fire pit - we had a great time - Thank you, Solitude! »

« I’ve stayed in all of Stewart’s properties and they don’t disappoint! Very attentive and there to assist with any issues. We enjoyed watching the sheep and burro in the fields…listening to the rooster crow in the am and the owl hooting at night. Comfortable nights under the porch just chatting. Highly recommended! »

« We had a great time with 3 kids, age 8-12. They were able to kayak and fish in the cove safely. Internet/tv was very limited/spotty at times. You will need to drive 20-30 minutes for most groceries/restaurants. »

« This house was an amazing jewel to stay at! Fantastic location off the lake and close to Alabaster with an easy commute. Our group loved sitting by the fire each night and the amount of seating is perfect for a large group. We had a maintenance issue during our stay and the housekeeper came out immediately to assist. Great communication from owner. »

« The house setup is great. We enjoyed sitting on the covered decks with a great view overlook the Waxahatchie. The flat top grill was a big hit. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. Great location . »

« House was beautiful. High quality all the way; mattresses, kitchen appliances, furniture. Nice playroom with toys. Game room was wonderful. Only drawback was access to water; lots of steps. Hard (or impossible) for older people and small children to get down to dock. »
