  • Tucked beside Lane Cove National Park yet just minutes from Chatswood’s lively dining scene, shopping precincts, and Metro connections to the CBD, North Sydney, and Macquarie Park, this treetop retreat is a rare escape on Sydney’s lower north shore. Bushwalking trails, river boating, and open parklands are on the doorstep, while inside, the home is thoughtfully designed for longer stays with expansive indoor-outdoor living, central heating and cooling, and serene bushland outlooks throughout.
    Spread across multiple levels, the home balances open social spaces with peaceful private retreats, all surrounded by calming leafy views. On the upper floor, the spacious living area features an oversized lounge, TV, and direct access to a private balcony overlooking the treetops. The kitchen is well-equipped for extended stays with quality appliances, including a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, oven, and refrigerator. Two separate dining areas provide ample room for meals at home.

    Overlooking the backyard, the sunroom creates a light-filled nook for reading, quiet conversations, or slow morning coffee. Just beyond, the covered patio pairs outdoor seating with a gas BBQ, creating an easy setting for alfresco meals and relaxed evenings surrounded by greenery.

    The bedrooms are thoughtfully positioned away from the entertaining spaces to maintain a quiet atmosphere throughout the home. Located on the upper level, the primary bedroom includes a king bed, an ensuite, and direct balcony access. The second bedroom features a queen bed, while the third bedroom offers a double bed. Upstairs, the attic-style retreat includes a dedicated workspace, a portable fan, and a sofa bed that can be prepared as an additional sleeping space upon request, creating a versatile space for both work and relaxation.

    Two bathrooms service the home, including the primary bedroom’s ensuite and a family bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower. A private laundry with a washer, dryer, drying rack, and ironing facilities adds convenience for longer stays, while central heating and air conditioning ensure year-round comfort. Driveway parking is available for one vehicle, with additional free street parking nearby.

    Positioned on the edge of Lane Cove National Park, this peaceful pocket of Chatswood West offers a rare blend of nature and city convenience. The Blue Gum Creek Walking Track starts just a short stroll from the front door, winding through a scenic 5km return journey deep into the national park. From there, the park opens up further with riverside picnic spots, kayaking and boating on the Lane Cove River, and the historic Fairyland Pleasure Gardens are all within easy reach. When the energy calls for something different, Chatswood offers a dense, vibrant dining scene running from world-renowned names like Din Tai Fung and Hai Di Lao through to beloved local institutions, hand-pulled noodles, and some of Sydney's best roast duck. Westfield and Chatswood Chase take care of the shopping, and with the Metro close by, the CBD and Macquarie Park are an easy ride away whenever the group feels like venturing out.

    The property features a split-level layout with multiple staircases. The main entry involves a steep driveway and several external stairs to reach the entrance, with an internal staircase leading to the attic/loft level. This property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
