A flat 2 minute walk from Bondi Beach - the perfect base for exploring Sydney's most iconic stretch of coastline.

This is an old Bondi apartment, not a hotel: expect real character over polish, and great value over luxury. Guests consistently rate the location as unbeatable.

It is one open-plan room - there is no separate bedroom. Sleeps up to 4: a queen bed plus a pull-out sofa bed (most comfortable for two; when extended the sofa bed fills most of the floor space). Self check-in is by lock box, so you can arrive on your own schedule.

THE SPACE
Living and sleeping: one open-plan room, no separate bedroom. Queen bed, pull-out sofa bed and a TV.
Kitchen: fully equipped - stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, with cookware and crockery.
Bathroom: compact, with a standing shower.
Climate and Wi-Fi: portable air conditioning, a portable fan and a portable heater. Wi-Fi at 27 Mbps - fast enough to work from.
Laundry: shared coin-operated washer and dryer in the building (1 and 2 dollar coins), plus a laundromat nearby. There is no washing machine inside the apartment.
Best for a couple or a solo traveller; it sleeps four but is cosy at full capacity.

GUEST ACCESS
You have private and exclusive access to the entire studio for the length of your stay, with a private entrance and self check-in. Check-in details and entry instructions are sent ahead of your arrival, and the lock box code is messaged one hour before check-in.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
You are in the heart of Bondi Beach - local coffee shops, eateries and every sort of fitness class you could imagine, with the sand and the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk a flat 2 minute walk away.

GETTING AROUND
The main bus stop is 1 minute away and runs all the way into the city, or you can ride to Bondi Junction for the trains. From Sydney Airport, allow roughly thirty to forty minutes by car.
Parking: the building (units 3 and 7 Hall Street) shares 5 free parking spaces downstairs, but they are not allocated or guaranteed - first come, first served - so please have Blair Street as a backup, where free overnight street parking is about a 5 minute walk away.

Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 10am, with self check-in by lock box so you can arrive at any hour.
Size: a compact open-plan studio - there is no separate bedroom.
No smoking, and no parties or events.
We value your privacy, so you have the entire space to yourself. We are available by message or phone if you need any assistance or local recommendations during your stay.

Getting here: Sydney Airport (SYD) is about 13 km away - 25-40 minutes by taxi or Uber, typically A$60-85 depending on traffic, tolls and time of day. By public transport it is about A$20 - T8 Airport line to Central, change to the T4 towards Bondi Junction, then the 333 or 380 bus to Bondi Beach (60-90 minutes).

Check-in is from 3pm and we are not able to offer early check-in - the apartment is being cleaned right up to then. There is no latest arrival time, so you can arrive as late as you like. Entry is by lock box with a physical key inside, not a smart lock, and we send you the code, the floor and full directions before you arrive. Wi-Fi is included at around 25 Mbps.

There is no reception and nobody on site to meet you - check-in is entirely self-service. Please make sure you know which building, entrance and floor you are heading to before you travel, as no one can let you in on arrival. We send the exact address, the floor, where the lock box is and full directions in advance.
