Desirable views with an undesirable experience
There were positives and negatives to our stay here. First the negatives. The screen door fell off twice, once falling on my sonâs fishing pole and cracking it in half. But the worst was arriving and the first thing we notice is dog poop EVERYWHERE. It was all over the grass as well as the dock! It had just rained so it was extra mushy! You had to walk around the bombs to get from the car to the door with all our luggage. Not a great first impression. When we first walked in the house it had an overpowering smell, not in a good way. We found two plugins and took them out. Once removed the smell of mildew came through. We turned on the air and opened the windows and the smell did get better. Aside from the negative experiences, the lake was awesome. The kids had a blast fishing. The beds were comfy and the house itself was clean. Note that the immediate area was less than desirable.
