Manque de propriété

Le cottage est dans un état général assez moyen, et necessiterait un grand ménage. La literie est peu confortable. La petite cuisine est assez pratique.

We had a great time. Cottage is on great location, hot tub was a nice trest after a day of adventures. Children loved the dog and the big space around the cottage.we'veeven seen the northernlights

We spent a whole week here, and these cottages are located in an ideal place to explore Golden circle and southern Iceland along ring road. Only 45 minutes from downtown Reykavik we were able to connect with some tours via bus a couple of days and self drive the rest. There seems to be some issue with water pressure at times but water was clean and cold when you wanted, hot when needed. Having the hot tub was delightful but needed some adjusting by the owners to make it hot enough. Kitchenette was ideal to support breakfasts and evening snacks. I would definitely go back.

Check in was supposed to be by a phone call 72 hours prior, but was told to call back the day I arrived to get a key code, which was not ideal with traveling. The only heat was a portable unit. There are lots of rules about the hot tub but no instructions provided, even when I texted a request. Cabin was quite dated. WiFi password is not provided, but got it more than a day after requesting it. Definitely not worth the price.

A large comfy wooden lodge that was suitable for a family of four. Apartment was comfy and warm and a perfect location for the tourist routes to the South of island. The only let down was there was no remote control to the TV which meant we could t make use of this during our 3 night stay.

Very nice and cozy cottage. Could've been a little more clean (some dusty areas and especially the dishes were pretty dirty). Sadly no spices or oil to cook with, i think should be part of a well equipped kitchen. Maybe also provide 1 more towel for each guest for convenience. There was no second key in the cottage as told before but the rest of the communication was fine. Very nice spot for northern lights watching. Would come back.

Cute, small, basic cabin. Bedrooms are pretty tight and not much space for storage. Bathroom is very small and shower seemed to have some drainage challenges. Hot tub was plenty hot. The local dog, Snorta, is super friendly and fun to have come greet you. Local town was grocery, gas and a few places to eat. It worked well for 4 of us - more than 4 would be pretty tight.

These cottages were perfectly located near the Golden Circle. Very comfortable and included a kitchenette and gas grill which saved money in dining options. Snotra was the local doggo and was super friendly. Maybe a little too friendly, but there was a number provided to call if she overstayed her welcome. We never needed to call it. Would recommend!

The confirmation email provided incorrect check in instructions and nobody would answer the phone at the number provided. It was pretty stressful. The cabin was nice and tidy. It was missing some basic things e.g. a pillow case and a sheet. Their dog, Snotra, is awesome.

The property was in a quiet area with a beautiful view. The interior of the cabin was cozy and warm while the outside was winter winter. The isolated set of cabins are located near a pretty well equipped town, close to the Golden circle and all of its attractions, and far enough out that it gets nice and dark at night if you want to see the Northern lights. There is a food court with six stands a short drive from the cabin, many other options in the small town, and it is close to Selfoss which has a larger volume of options. The cute neighborhood dog did not visit us, I was disappointed. All-wheel drive is recommended in the winter as most of Iceland drives on packed snow.

The cottage is in the perfect area to view the northern lights. It’s just close enough to the nearby town and just far enough to not get the light pollution. The outdoor hot tub for each individual cottage is perfect to sit in and watch the lights. They have the cutest ‘community’ dog that is very sweet and so well behaved. Just be aware if you are allergic to dogs! The bed seems to be a bit old and it was awkward to have just one side to get in and out through as the rest of the bed is up against the walls. With some bed and linen upgrades, this would be dreamier! The cottages are self check in so you’ll need to call them for your cottage number and key lock code. The number in Expedia is incorrect, so use the one in Google.

Badest experience ever.

We booked the Cottage, for two nights at the End of our Iceland Trip to have a cozy time. What we got was a cold and unwelcome Cottage. The Phone number which is mentioned in Hotels.com is not valid, the whole day we tried to reach out to the Cottage for check in. At the End when we arrived we searched in the Neighborhood and got a phone number to call. As there was an ongoing pipeline work we had not warm water and no well working heaters. We had to stay at felt minus degreases without heater. The woman from the reception wanted to bring us an electrical heater, but nobody came. When we called her the next day to ask, she was just laughing and telling us that she forgot it. Incredible. Also the Whirlpool was not usable. These kind of stuff can happen, but we would expect to be informed at least. So that we can decide if we still want to come or not. All in all it was a really bad Experience.

HOT, HOT, HOT Tub

It was cozy but it was fine for my wife and I. We spent three nights there. No check-in on site but they communciated as much beforehand and provided us instructions for gaining access to the cottage. It was clean. Very limited kitchen utensils, pots, pans and plates but we made it work. The hot tub (no jets) was waaaay too hot (47*C/117*F) and there was no way to change the temperature. We ended up adding MANY pots of cold water so we could use it once but we weren't about to do that every night. We were disappointed about that. The cabin numbers are easy to see during the day. Unfortunately we arrived when it was dark out and couldn't see the numbers on the cabins. From their email we knew the odd numbered cabins were on the left and the even numbered ones are on the right. Given that ours was #3 we guessed it was the second one on the left. That we could gain access using the code we were given told us that was the right guess. For your reference, should you also arrive when it is dark out, the cabins are, from the entrance: 1/3/5/7 on the left and 2/4/6/8 on the right. There's a small map as you enter the property but is says every unit is #2 so "helpful" would not be a word I would use to describe that map. There's a nice bakery, a grocery store and some restaurants in the small town a 2-3 minute drive away. We'd stay there again especially if we could adjust the temp of the hot tub...
