Parking is in a public place next to the hotel and charges $18 max for 24h. « No restaurant, no... No nothing. Industrial elevators, no isolation between rooms. one inch opening at the bottom of the room door to make sure you hear everything in the corridor. I read good reviews so I booked two rooms for two nights for my employees and... I almost lost two employees. Who writes these reviews?? »

« Great building! Old timey with a modern vibe. Great location near Old Sacramento, railroad museum, state capitol building. Very helpful staff. I would stay here again. »

« The housekeeping was awful. There was a noticeable stain on the duvet cover and hair on top and in the sheets. Hair was also found in the shower stall. Troy was very helpful in immediately moving us to another room. That shower also had hair in it. I used the shower hand held and rinsed it out. The brown spider in the bathroom took me over. I spoke with Ryan at the desk and was told he refunded the stay. I have no confirmation or receipt of it. I will be calling them about it. »

« Very nice property. Not a whole lot of amenities in terms of restaurants that are less than 5 minute walk, but a lot certainly in 5 min driving distance. It’s within the UC Davis medical campus, with a lot of other healthcare facilities around so the neighborhood is very chill and pleasant. The hotel itself is clean, and well maintained. « How lucky to stay in an 1860’s private home from the “Weinstock Department Store” family on a tree lined street near the capitol, midtown, very safe and 100% walkable. This property is also a wedding venue. Check-in was easy and there was a gal manning the front desk when we arrived at 3pm.
