« My husband and I traveled here from Arizona to visit our kids and grandkids and celebrate our newest grandchild’s first birthday. Our family loved all the games & activities in a beautiful, thoughtfully appointed cabin & setting, making memories that will last a lifetime. Our conversations around home cooked meals and in front of the huge river rock fireplace were topped off only by the gently falling snow, visible from the numerous tall windows. It was all quite breathtaking! »

The only thing to note is the kitchen is pretty empty - no staples and not a lot of basic kitchen items - no biggie, just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on cooking, like we were. »

« Everything was as noted in the listing. We came up for a family getaway for the weekend. There was 10 of us total plenty of room for the kids to sleep and run around there was a rope swing out side that kept them busy and outside adventuring. The hot tub was definitely nice in the evenings after the kids went to bed along with the complementary adult beverages. The host were very prompt to responding back to us at any time. « This was our second trip to the White House. We enjoyed it just as much as our first trip. We hoped for a nice sunny weekend to enjoy the beautiful outdoors but Mother Nature had different plans. It rained then snowed! However, it didn’t take away from our weekend. The cabin has everything you need should you choose to stay put and enjoy the property. The house is walking distance to apple orchard stands and a quick drive to many wineries. We had the best stay and can’t wait to return again! »

« This location is very tucked away deep into a hilly little neighborhood. The driveway is steep for nervous drivers but for us it was perfect. The house was clean and well-kept. The bathroom was large for the space. We attended a wedding very close to the location so it was convenient. »

« This house was so beautiful! It was huge! It had so many amenities from the pool, BBQ grill, ping pong table, cornhole, pool table, basketball court, pickle ball etc. Absolutely loved the decor and how spacious the house was esp the kitchen. Great for large families. So many places to sit whether it be the large dining table in the atrium or in the kitchen. We even enjoyed the media room and watched movies together there. The kids loved to see the frogs in the pond. Everything was just perfect...

« This property is Nostalgically charming, being of a certain age the decor and style of this home took me directly back to childhood. Views are breathtaking and the spacing in the home gives the independence and comfort that’s required when traveling with family or friends. Second day we headed up to the top of Skylark park to the foothills and found snow. Spent a couple hours playing in the powder. We decided on some family fun so we hoped over to RedHawk Casino and enjoyed Apex. Food was good ,...

« Our stay was great! The house was extremely clean, bright, and quiet. The check in/ out process was easy, and we felt welcomed. We appreciated being able to bring pets. Our dog made us laugh when he kept returning to the full-length mirror to look at himself. The mountains were beautiful. We would stay here again. »

« Having never been in the area before, we were thrilled by the location for one - one block walk to great food and cocktails at the Imperial, local brewery, quaint city. Everything we were here to do was a short drive. And once back at Halcyon House, it offered every amenity we needed - great attention to detail, very welcoming setting, indoor and outdoor areas that are comfortable and relaxing. « We visited Sunset Hills in April, and it was so beautiful. Quail were browsing outside the sliding glass door. The grass was bright green and trees were leafing out. So beautiful. Very close to Sutter Creek where the shopping is fun, and the food is fabulous. Next time I want to swim in that beautiful infinity pool and sit by the fire table in the evening. « Had a fantastic stay at Il Respiro! The pool is fantastic so we spent most of our time going down the slide! Would be great if there were plastic cups and plates since you'll likely end up mostly outside taking advantage of the fresh air and watching the local wildlife. »
