Red Farmhouse By The Creek

Charming Red Farmhouse built in 1860, presented by StayBettr Vacation Rentals, features a large flat backyard that backs up to a beautiful creek. Indoors you will find a modern kitchen with a range, dishwasher, and tons of counter space. The pellet woodstove is great for those cold winter nights.

Large covered back porch will be your place to enjoy the mountain breezes, sunsets, and stars here in the Poconos. The patio has rocking chairs, and outdoor dining seating for four. There is an outdoor firepit on the patio as well.

Kayaks are available for rent on the Delaware nearby, and you can fly fish or take a refreshing dip in the creek on the property.

Upper Level:

Bedroom 1: Queen Bed, Fold Out Twin Bed, Closet, TV,
Bedroom 2: Double Bed

Bedrooms 1 and 2 share a bathroom with soaker tub and shower on the upper level.


Guest Access:

You will have access to the main house and outdoor areas including the creek. The parking pad is gravel, and strictly limited to 2 cars. Guests should not park on the street or grass.

The Neighborhood:

Starlight is a quiet, woodsy village located in the far northeastern corner of the Poconos of Pennsylvania. Tucked away near the New York border, you are right across the bridge from Hancock, and a short drive from Livingston Manor. The area peaceful getaway for outdoor enthusiasts including fly fishing, hiking, cycling, and kayaking on the Delaware.

Getting Around:

We recommend having car for your stay. Taxis are available, but ride sharing services are more sparse. Rental car services are available in Monticello, NY and Honesdale, PA. Shortline Coach Bus Service provides at Hancock. Though to reach New York City you will need to transfer in Monticello or Binghamton.

Things to Know:

You will be required to sign a rental agreement after the booking is confirmed. Full terms of the agreement are available on request. Additionally, you will be required to upload an approved government identification card or passport when you complete the rental agreement. If you have questions about either of these requirements please message us prior to booking.

Fees may apply for early check-ins, late check-outs, and additional optional services.

Up to two dogs may stay at the property. The first dog is includes in the nightly rate. The second dog incurs a $25/night fee.
