4 100 pieds carrés belle maison privée de 4 chambres en brique privée directement sur la rivière James avec accès à l'eau et vues spectaculaires sur l'eau. Beaux levers de soleil et faune à voir quotidiennement. Excellent emplacement calme à proximité de nombreuses destinations touristiques, notamment Busch Gardens, Water Country, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown et Chippokes State Park. Lovely Smithfield historique est à 25 min. Il y a deux cuisines une cuisine au rez-de-chaussée et une au rez-de-jardin. Les enfants sont les bienvenus. Chaise haute et Pack and Play disponibles sur demande.

This is the second year we have stayed here. Superb views over the James river. Quiet location. Very near Scotland Jamestown ferry. Free and one of the US best trips.There were only 3 of us so the house was spacious and we had a bathroom each. All the facilities you need , Good wifi and Tubi TV. Overall excellent

We stayed here for spring break with our extended family. Everyone loved it! The views of the James River are wonderful. We saw a bald eagle fly over with a fish in its talons while we were sitting on the couch in the living room! Everyone had their own space but we could all hang out together in the common areas. The ferry is literally around the corner and getting over to Jamestown, Williamsburg, or Busch Gardens is easy peasy. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate most of our meals there. She also provides plenty of dish, laundry, and hand soap. This is such a gem of a place for a very reasonable price! Would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in this area.

The house is ideally situated on the James River, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The layout of the house itself is perfect for gathering for meals and games, as well as for individuals to retreat for quiet time. The kitchen is well-stocked, with no gaps in supplies. And the homeowner is incredibly thoughtful and responsive, including dealing perfectly with the ups-and-downs of some weather issues. We are looking forward to many future stays at this property! The property was just as pictured. It was four of us and so spacious that we did not use an entire floor. The surrounding was pretty and peaceful. There was not any close shopping including grocery stores so stop before you arrive. However, we enjoyed the ferry ride across the river! We will definitely like to return when it gets warmer.

The property was as beautiful as the pictures and the description. The breath taking view is to restore your soul to return back to the real world. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the home had every amenity needed for a comfortable stay! We will definitely return.

Our family has stayed at a number of VRBO's in this general price range, and we were fairly pleased with each of them. This one was a step above the others. Everything was exactly as advertised. The house is big and as nice as the pictures indicate. Everything was well-maintained and very clean. The surrounding area is beautiful. There were no surprises. Everything that you would expect to work, worked great. Communication was prompt and very clear. The nearby ferry is very well run and makes it easy to get to nearby Jamestown and Williamsburg. What most impressed us was all the attention to the little details. Both kitchens had everything we needed to prepare and serve all meals (except the actual food), and also to clean up. The mattresses in each room were very comfortable, and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets available. The deck furniture was all clean and free of cobwebs. We didn't spend any time cleaning anything (except for what we used), looking for any basics, or trying to get something to work. It was a great stay and well worth the cost. We will try to stay here again the next time we are near Williamsburg.

Lovely home right on the James River. Our family saw bald eagles, herons, osprey and even a dolphin in the water. Binoculars provided were great to have to see all the surrounding wildlife. Conveniently located close to the ferry to go to Jamestown and Williamsburg.

We wanted a quiet location that was more locals than tourists, but still close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. The location was perfect for fishing and kayaking, while only a 20 min ferry ride into Williamsburg. The house was big enough to accommodate 3 families with plenty of private and shared space. The house is quiet yet close enough to shopping, site seeing and historical attractions. Would definitely recommend.

This home is amazing! Everything was great the view, spacious, comfortable, peaceful secluded but just a short ferry ride to a beautiful town that has everything you need and want. I appreciated the nice and plentiful towel sets. The host were nice, accommodating and very responsive. Im already thinking of a reason to return to the area just stay here again. THE VIEW is breathtaking

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. The view out over the river was spectacular and we could even see the fireworks from Busch Gardens on Saturday nights. The ferry is very easy to access and we found plenty to do on both sides of the river. The house is well stocked and cooking was easy in this kitchen. Lots of room for our family of 6. The 3 storey house is located on theJames riverside. The views are stunning with wildlife in abundance. First time that Ive seen flying fish.The house is spacious spread over 3 floors. All facilities were well kept and there was plenty of towels, laundry and dishwasher liquid, soap etc. Much more thoughtful than most VRBO properties. Wi fi and entertainment good. Only a few minutes from the Scotland-Jamestown free car ferry which we used every day. Excellent service and great way to see the river. Host very easy to contact and helpful. Overall an excellent property worthy of 5 stars

Very spacey 3 level house with an awesome view and a private beach. Loved the big bay window in the kitchen. 4 large TVs with premium channel packages. Rode the ferry, did the kayak and Chippokes park. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Enjoyed the little town of Surry, monster sub at the Ham shop and treats at the cupcake shop. Had a wonderful time at this property!!

We had a fun and relaxing time here. It was clean, spacious and in a great location. We had 6 people and there was enough room for everyone. The home was stocked with basics in case you forgot something and was only a half mile from the ferry. Go to the cupcake place that is nearby if you can, you won't regret it!

The house is exactly as described. Well maintained and beautiful setting on the James river. There are three levels. Main level is the 2nd floor with kitchen, dining, living room, and master bedroom suite. Great views from the kitchen nook/living area and back deck. Down below is a separate private bedroom area, including bar and entertainment area. Upstairs are two more bedrooms and bath. The ferry across to the Jamestown/Williamsburg side is just around the corner. Most of the day it comes every 30 minutes. The ride is about 15 minutes across. Clear communication from the owner and we had no issues whatsoever. Fully recommend.
