"Sand Dollar"- Let's Vacation! - this bright and tastefully decorated lower level, street side, canal home offers a lovely canal view porch with swing and a quick & easy walk to the beach!

New additions in the 2021 renovations include new dishwasher, new stackable washer & dryer, new kitchen appliances and a new powder room half bath! The Cottages at Pier 35 evoke an era of coastal living of the past with its Cape Cod inspired shingled facade, generous lawn, sundeck pier - all with gentle ocean breezes and swaying palm trees. Enjoy the laid back lifestyle in this nicely appointed home offering a private deck and a lovely use in common yard features a canal side seating area for relaxing and breathing in the salt air. Enjoy crabbing or fishing on the canal and the convenience of a charcoal grill area overlooking the water. Inside this street side, lower level unit you will find light and airy interior decor and finishes with hardwood style flooring throughout. In the main living area you will find a comfortable sofa and chairs for relaxing. The fully stocked kitchen features an island dining area with stools, stainless french door refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Front deck offers a swing and adirondack chairs perfect for sipping a beverage and watching the wildlife around the canal and Intracoastal Waterway. Each of two bedrooms have new mattress sets and provides a convenient vanity with sink, and plenty of natural light. Bath offers new tiled shower and washer/dryer. Convenient outdoor shower with hot and cold water also available. There is parking available for two cars per unit and convenient beach access is just a 3 minute, 1/10 mile walk away. "Sand Dollar" is the perfect choice for a romantic retreat or an affordable beach getaway for a small family. Need more room to spread out? Rent this unit along with one of our sister properties, "Loggerhead," "Ol' Salt" or "Porpoise".

Note: Guests do have access at their own risk to the floating dock on the canal for kayak launching. No motor boat access. Outdoor grills are shared with sister properties, "Porpoise," "Ol' Salt" and "Loggerhead". Rental Agreement will be emailed at time of booking for signature.

It was just my husband and I so the second bedroom did not get used. But all appliances worked, the bathroom were plenty big, the bed was comfortable, and the porch was LARGE! We had a wonderful, comfortable time. The only three things I would mention are:1. the spigot in the kitchen sink needs tightening; 2. there needs to be 4 pillowcases in the "queen sheets" packet. I stole 2 pillowcases from the single beds packets; and 3. I wish the sheets were longer Those things are so minor and did not detract from our stay. Our grown children had a 22-person family reunion down in the gated section.. We came at the end of the week and crashed their party! A+++

Has everything you need. Very clean and has an awesome kitchen. Great view with dock on canal.

We do not recommend you staying at this property. The updates are beautiful however the mattresses are uncomfortable and we had to end our vacation early. The pictures posted of the family room furniture at the time of booking were not even close to what was On site at the property. The description is incorrect and the couch is not comfortable. If you want comfort do not stay here.
