Oceanfront Cottage with Great Views!

This oceanfront cottage offers two bedrooms (1K, 1Q) and two bathrooms. You are sure to enjoy your time at Holden Beach in this vibrant home with great views of the Atlantic Ocean! The king bedroom opens directly into the oceanside sunroom. Each bedroom offers it's own private bath. Just a few steps off the porch and you are walking the golden sand beach or jumping into the waves. You are within walking distance to the pier from this home. Home's laundry area is on the ground level. What are you waiting for? This home is waiting just for you!

Holden Beach is a part of a barrier island chain located along the southeastern coast of NC. It is one of the best rated, least crowded, and most beautiful family beaches found. National Geographic Smart Traveler magazine recently ranked Holden Beach among it's top 10 "Best Family Beaches". The town of Shallotte is a 10 minute drive away with restaurants, grocery and department stores. Within an hour drive to Myrtle Beach, SC, you can relax on the beach during the day and drive to Myrtle Beach at night to play!

Boating, fishing, and hiking on the island are all popular activities. Jet ski rentals are available under the Holden Beach bridge. Holden Beach is a shell hunters paradise! And for those who love sea turtles, hatching season runs May to October.

This home rents weekly. Saturday Check In and Saturday Check Out. If you need a shorter stay, message us to see if we can accommodate your schedule. Minimum nights is 3.

Guests provide their own towels, bed linens, kitchen towels, and pillow cases. We provide mattress pads, blankets, comforters, and pillows. Linens can be provide for an additional fee. Just message us to add this for you.

The location was perfect, and we understood this was an older property. Access to the beach was easy and close by, just a few feet off the deck. This meant stunning, sunrises and gorgeous sunsets.Our only concern was that the house did not appear to have been cleaned well prior to our arrival.

This is our 2nd year staying at this cottage. We love the easy access to the beach right off the back deck. The views are gorgeous from inside the home and from the deck. The interior is very colorful and welcoming. We love Holden Beach and we plan to go back again next year and stay in this home once again.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Property is on the beach and we had a great view of the ocean! We could see a peak of the sunrise from the bedroom in the mornings. The inside of the house is very beachy and fun. Everything you need is there in the kitchen. Plenty of seating, footstools too. Loved it!

Good stay. House is nice. Would have been nice to have windows that opened to let in the ocean air and the blinds inside the window diminished the view. Made it feel like you weren’t on the ocean at all. Kitchen sparsely supplied, but enough to make do. It was nicely decorated and a walk out the door to the beach which was nice.

The property was beautifully decorated I love all the bright happy colors. Very easy walk to the beach right out our back door. We had a little trouble with the air conditioner and the maintenance crew were there quickly and fulford Electric had us back in business in no time I was very impressed

Beautiful vacation spot

This house was awesome for our week vacation. The views of the ocean are gorgeous and it was relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of the waves hitting the beach. Communication with the owner was simple and easy. I would definitely think about staying here again!

First Time in Holden

This was our first time in Holden and this cute little rainbow cottage was a delight. It is an older home with its peccadilloes so I think it is important to not have expectations that overshoot what the home is capable of meeting- we were very comfortable and there was nothing that was really bothersome to us at all. The location was perfection and the property management was very communicative. Truly no complaints and we look forward to coming again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Holden Beach while staying in this beach cottage. We loved how each room of the home was decorated with a beach theme. The property manager was very prompt and professional answering our questions prior to our vacation. We look forward to staying at this property again in the near future.

Furniture needs to be replaced.

The house itself was ok except no covered area to sit under outside and you really couldn't look straight out from house and see the beach and the waves due to the dunes. Our biggest complaint, though is the beds and the furniture. We tried the king size bed and the queen size and they were both awful! Worst sleep ever on a vacation! The couches and chairs in the living room were equally awful! We had a horribly time due to being sore and tired from trying to sleep. Never so glad to be home from our vacation.

30th Anniversary Trip

Perfect oceanfront beach cottage for couples. Great ocean access and house had everything we needed. Enjoyed cooking fresh fish we caught and sunsets on the deck. Also learned about sea biscuits! Susan is a great host!

Had a great time but....

We had a great stay at Holden Beach. I love the house is ocean front! There's a few things I didn't enjoy about the house itself. There isn't access to the beach from the front of the house, you have to go through the house to the back porch (ocean side). This makes it hard for items you don't want to carry through the house like beach chairs, coolers, etc. The luggage elevator did not work so we had to carry very heavy items up the stairs. The back porch (ocean side) is not covered which is fine but owner could at least provide an umbrella for the table. We found the back porch (ocean side) lights didn't work at all so it was hard to see. There is water damage on a few of the bedroom walls. There isn't overhead lights in the bedrooms only lamps. That was fine but we found we couldn't turn the lamps off without unplugging them from the wall. Both bathrooms/ showers are very small. The washer and dryer are in the bottom of the house, no access to them from inside the house. This is a cute house but needs some upgrades.
