« Neil’s place is as described and well located 8 minutes walk from the Scarborough Esplanade - good cafes, restaurants and hotel. Fabulous for sunset watching on the Esplanade. Neil is very generous with his welcome gifts including a bottle of red wine under his own label - I think it was Shiraz. It was nice to have lovely soft white towels (like at home). « Great location for short term holiday. Easy access to shops and transport if required. Kitchen appliances allow easy self catering, adequate refrigeration space. Would have liked better cooking equipment in the form of saucepans and roasting dish as our stay was in excess of three weeks. Bathroom facilities excellent and laundry appliance well used and appreciated. Overall, very happy with our experience! »

« Unit was clean and fine otherwise, with the exception of one of the beds which sagged in the middle and made it hard to have a good night's sleep.On our first night, the neighbours had a party that lasted until 2:30 am. Their outdoor area is next to the main bedroom. Thankfully, this happened only once during our stay. Depending on the time of day, it can take a while to get out of the driveway because of traffic - property is located very close to a roundabout. Definitely need a car to get to...
