Whiskey Barrel Bunkhouse

This is a 860 sq ft one bedroom one bath that will sleep 6. ( It is on the same property as my other VRBO Cozy sunrise suite at waters edge ) on the 38 MM on the west side of Lake of the Ozarks.
It has a Queen bed in the bedroom, a double sofa bed in the living area and two twin beds in the living area. It has an old west cowboy/1970s whiskey barrel furniture theme and is wheelchair accessable.
It has great swimming in a no wake cove with plenty of seating on the dock and nice shaded outdoor area next to bunkhouse with firepit and a gas flat grill .

Lakefront recreation
Enjoy the two paddle boards, two kayaks, paddle boat, floatie noodles ,saddlesand the 16-foot lily pad.Boat trailer parking is no problem. It has room on the side of the dock for a boat up to a 40-foot. The boat dock with bumpers and tie offs is free of charge with rental of bunkhouse.The three well dock is shared with the other rental and ourselves. The boat ramp is located at Premier Advantage Marina @ 27 Lighthouse Marina Rd 38 MM . three minutes away. All roads are paved leading into our renal and boat ramp.

Interior Amenities
Bunkhouse has a full kitchen, a keurig coffee maker,( coffee pods are supplied along with other common condiments and spices,paper towels, dish soap ) an air fryer, there are 3 smart televisions, 2 in the living area and 1 in the bedroom, the live edge riverbar and other pieces I made from an oak tree that was taken down in the nieborhood and slabbed up by a small sawmill about a quarter mile from the rental, the bathroom has a large shower and bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, and towels ect. are supplied.

Other fun things to do,
Come swim,float, fish, grill,( play corn hole or horse shoes ( supplied ) or visit all the favorite restaurants and lake resorts the west side has to offer.
Grocery, fuel and fresh produce stand are right up the road. You dont have to go far for just about anything you could need or want. I live on site and am usually on site to help with anythin you need. Please note i have 2 dogs and a cat on the premises in case you are allergic. the pets occasionally frequent the bunkhouse during cleaning and maitenance but not regulary. See house rules for more details.

The Whiskey Barrel Bunkhouse was a wonderful place for us to stay while visiting friends on the lake! Rod is a super nice guy and a true artist. We were amazed at his handiwork throughout the whole place. The pictures don’t do it justice. We had everthing we needed in the bunkhouse and on the patio and dock. We were pleased with the available kayaks and paddleboards available so we didn’t have to pack our own. We would definitely book the bunkhouse again. Thank you so much Rod!

The Whiskey Barrel bunk house is quite spacious. The open concept living room and kitchen is decorated with cattle ranch decor. All hand crafted by the owner. All very high end and top notch!The living room has a nice sectional couch and 2 large screen tv’s. The bedroom also has a tv! Everything was well stocked with anything you might need and spotless. Highly recommend!

Great Bunkhouse!

Our family if 5 loved staying at the Bunkhouse! It was way more spacious than we expexted with plenty of room for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 17, 15 and 8). We had really crummy weather during our stay, but stillgot to use the lilly pad one afternoon and fished off the dock in the rain. We loved the easy access to the dock. The kids were already planning our next stay before we left

We loved staying at this property. The attention to detail and the quiet location is perfect for the relaxing getaway we needed to recharge. Beautiful space to unwind. Just perfect

The house has a lot of love, thought and creativity put into it by the host/owner. It was fun staying in a themed home that is not water themed. The Western/cowboy theme was really fun. The craftsmen ship was spectacular. Very well thought out. Roomy, easy to access, easy to find, easy to park. The weather didn’t cooperate to use the water toys but there are many provided. A very nice patio area is available too. We enjoyed our stay and conversations with the owner. We hope to stay again someday.

Kim and I had a wonderful time at the Whiskey Barrel Bunkhouse. Spacious and cozy. Well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom. There is a lot of really nice craftmanship items to use and look at. Access to the dock is easy. Plenty of campfire wood and a nice area to use it. Very close to restaurants, grocery stores and the bait shop. Our focus was on fishing, but we really had a good time relaxing at the bunkhouse and looking at the scenery around it. We look forward to returning.

Perfect for Weekend Stay

I stayed at this property while I was in town for an event at the Ozarks International Raceway. Hotels are too far after a long day at the track and I just needed something simple and nearby. This worked perfectly for me!

Amazing Place To Stay!!

Rod is a super host, friendly and so are his fur babies. Attention to detail is evident through out the entire cabin. Superb hand made woodwork. Quiet and love the deer, chipmunks, fox and squirrels. If someone is wanting the most relaxing weekend of the year this is the place to be. We didn't get to enjoy the water but I bet that would have been great also. Bill & Marci & Iris (Furbaby)

Nailed it with this place!

Fun whiskey barrel/western theme… There are so many cool things to look at inside. Every detail is done with such quality craftsmanship & is so well thought out. We more than had everything we needed. The location is very quiet & peaceful. We tried to take advantage of all of the amenities… went out in the peddle boat, used the kayaks & the paddle boards.osmart tv

Much Needed R&R

This is our second stay here and it is absolutely perfect! It is in a quiet, no wake cove so we could just lounge on the water all day or take the kayak's and paddle boards out. Rod is so accommodating and nice and the bunkhouse is the perfect size and has everything you could need! Can't wait to come back!
