« Definitely accessible via train and walking, but I recommend taking a taxi from the station just because there’s not a lot of room for pedestrians. As far as the hotel goes, the staff are very kind and accommodating, there are several shops on the bottom floor, you’re able to purchase local goods at the front desk and there is an amazing kimono shop one block away called Aridayagofuku where you can buy very high-quality textiles, local jewelry, and seasonal kimono.
