« What a great experience. Thus is an extremely clean and peaceful stay for those traveling the 1-44 corridor. We found this Vrbo thoughtfully stocked and met all our needs. I would say it’s about 10 minutes from anything in st James proper. « Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere.
