It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area. »

« House is the perfect place to stay on MDI for any itinerary. Location cant be beat- close to Bar Harbor yet so quiet at the end of a charming dead end road. House is so clean, comfortable, and newly renovated. Great new baths, beds, deck and thoroughly equipped kitchen. Will absolutely stay again! »

« This was an incredible place to stay. Great home base for Acadia NP. Very peaceful and quiet. Stocked with everything you need. Fire pit is amazing. The bars were super comfy and the house was very clean. Highly recommended! »

« The setting was lovely, the house was beautiful. The deck was perfect to hang out. The weather was too warm to use the fire pit, but in late summer or autumn I'm sure it would get tons of use. The house was spotless, beautiful. Would definitely go back! »

« PERFECTION, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This house was the absolute perfect spot for visiting Acadia and the Bar Harbor area! SW Harbor is quaint & quiet, with really great restaurants - all very walkable from the house. And then there's the house itself - from its own parking area to the homey beautifully curated decor to the functional separate wings of the house to the super fun finished basement lounge - and I could go on!!! On top of all that, the host's communication is clear, thorough, and rapid....
