« We (3 generations) spent a lovely, relaxing 5 days here to attend Millikin’s Spring Graduation. The house was great. Very spacious! The kitchen was stocked beyond my expectations, and the view was amazing. We SUP’d, kayaked, and fished (caught 2). I especially appreciated the Roku TV’s that automatically log you out of your accounts at the end of your stay. The house was clean, had great air flow, water pressure, etc. A few, minor, things to mention: 1) entry to the property requires utilizing...

« WOW! Great place! Nice little home that has been totally re-done. Still smells like new! Has everything you would want as they make a great effort to supply what is needed for a comfortable stay. Absolutely NO reason to stay in a hotel in Charleston/Mattoon area with this gem! Will return! »

« House is beautiful!! Very clean and well stocked. The view from the backyard balcony is amazing!! My Mom and I sat out there for hours every morning drinking our coffee and taking it all in, even in the rain. Erin and Ryan were easy to contact and very accommodating!!! Highly recommend!!! »

« We weeee there for a fishing trip but would have enjoyed staying for a getaway trip. The cottage is decorated perfect and includes everything but food and clothes cozy patio with fire pit. Firewood included. The grounds were beautiful I enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the wildlife. There are also two fishing ponds on the property. Highly recommend! »

« This was our second time at this property. It was clean, amenities were plentiful, and we had a great time. I cannot recommend this listing enough. It was perfect for a large group with children. Communication with the hosts is always great as well. All in all, another 10/10 stay. »

« We had to attend my brother in law’s funeral. My 95 year old father had to travel with us and hotels are a poor option. The house was wonderful and perfectly located to the funeral home and to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend it. »
