« The Gowdy apartment was very clean and comfortable. Jim met us and explained everything we needed to know and was helpful throughout our stay. We loved the location, and the back yard was great for having other family members come visit. We have been going to Lake City 50 years and stayed in a variety of houses and cabins and this is our favorite. We will certainly be back! »

« Wonderful experience with the Gowdy’s. Jim notified me of an early check in availability while I was still traveling to Lake City. Jim gave a quick instructional tour of the hot tub and gave excellent local advice on trails I had planned to hike. Jim responded quickly to any message and provided recommendations for groceries and eating out. I highly recommended this place for its comfort and hosts hospitality. »
