« Great accomodation, close enough to town but also on the way to coastal locations. Host has put in some very thoughtful touchs such as automatic hallway lighting (to see where you're going during the night), filtered water on tap, chargers for all phones types in the bedrooms, well appointed kitchen and generally, accomodation that feels like a home. Interactions with the host were non-intrusive and felt like we were interacting with a caring host compared to a sterile hotel. »

« This place was perfect for our family! Enough space for all of us and felt like home. It felt new and modern and very clean inside. The only thing I would mention however we didn’t need to use was the outdoor space. If we were to use it it would have been nice to see that area cleaned too as it would have been quite dirty to walk on bare foot (kitchen upstairs leads out to alfresco dining). However would definitely consider booking again when in Torquay next »

« The house was great and very well equipped with everything we needed. The shed with the games was a real highlight — we especially enjoyed the pool table and table tennis. The surroundings of the house were very calm and close to nature, which made the stay very relaxing. The host was extremely welcoming and provided all the information we needed. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. »

« To say the Pole House is iconic is obvious. We kept pinching ourselves that we were actually it’s guests. Every time we walked across the bridge felt like we were stepping into a very privileged space. For lovers of seascapes gazing out its windows is unparalleled. We slept with the blinds up and woke to the waves rolling up the beach. The facilities were all very comfortable and functional »
