« We arrived to find dirty bench tops, dirty wine glasses and plates in the cupboard and a dirty fridge. After 6 hours drive and looking forward to celebrating Christmas tea with family we were disappointed to say the very least. »

« We had such a lovely time at Simons 1850s Goldies cottage.Perfect for us, and our 2 big dogs loved the big fenced yards.They gave Simon plenty of licks when he came to show us the workings of the gate etc.We hired bikes and it was an easy 1.6km ride to town along the old rail trail.Watched some lovely sunsets and enjoyed one of the 3 fire places in the cottage on several nights.We certainly hope to return in the future and maybe do the whole rail trail from Port Fairy to Warnambool »

« The cottage was super clean, had space to spend time together or take a breather. Extra supplies in case you’d forgotten; salt and pepper for example! Great location- could walk to coffee, food and restaurants. Love that they use enviro friendly cleaning products. »

« Firstly the accommodation is in someone's backyard, not informed of this when booked. Thought it was a house on private property. That was the biggest letdown. Had tradies turn up to do a job at the house on the 25/2 with no communication from people we rented room from. Blocked driveway and lost power. Tradies happy to move cars if we needed. « Très déçu pArl’absence de la piscine qui est sur toutes les publicités alors qu’il s’agit d’un jacuzzi payant. De plus aucun contact avec gestionnaire ou une personne quelconque qui pourrait aider en cas de problème ( la commande de l’airco/chauffage) ne fonctionnait pas comme il faut. Il y a bien un numéro à appeler mais a plus de 3€ la minute, cela fait très cher pour avoir de l’aide..... »

« The cottage is located in quiet street, the bed was comfy, but the pillow is too soft for us, the kitchen is full of equipment to used and the spa bath was fantastic. and we noticed that they have many similar cottages around the town. some of really looking cute and nice to stay in for next visit. »

« Excellent location and Elizabeth made it really easy for us checking in. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The beach is literally 50m away. Onsite parking was really appreciated too as it got quite busy along the esplanade on Good Friday. Everything was within walking distance including dog beaches. »

« Highly recommend Quartz Cottage. Our family stayed for 4 nights - the accommodation was easy to find, quiet and clean, and was very close to Geelong CBD. Our kids loved the puzzles available, and the single child's room was perfect for our son. Lovely touches that made the cottage feel like home during our stay. We will definitely be back! »

« From the moment we walked into the cottage, we felt right at home. Lyneve had made sure the cottage was cool on the hot day we arrived - blinds down and fans on. The cottage is so close to the town centre you can walk there. Off street parking is a bonus. We stayed 4 nights and cooked dinner for ourselves during that time as well as going out to eat. Lovely decor and all amenities. »
