« I'm not sure where my first review went. The picture of the rental is accurate however it does not depict a mattress that pretty much is on the floor. The floor is very wavy making you feel unsteady. The couch was also low and hard as a rock. The smith river behind the house is barely visibleThe worst part is the entry. « Such a cute little place!! This was the perfect house for us to attend a wedding nearby. Everything was clean and in working order. We enjoyed watching the deer and birds every morning. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again »

« Beautiful property exactly as described. Great view of the lake, nice amenities, and use of kayaks was appreciated. Host was very responsive and friendly. Snacks and sodas provided were a nice touch, and so were the bathrobes and slippers and the hammock on the porch. Awesome property with everything you need. « We had a fantastic family stay at Bernard’s Landing. The condo was clean, comfortable, quiet, and a great home base for exploring Smith Mountain Lake. The location was the biggest highlight. « Very nice condo in a resort community. We were just passing through but should have stayed a few days! So many things to do and see! The condo is well appointed and very comfortable. Be aware that there isn't any food shopping or coffee shops within walking distance, so you should stock up in town. Taylor was a great host with excellent communication and recommendations. A-plus stay! »
